Recent Plumbers Reviews in Cary

  • Rest Assured Plumbing LLC
Rakeem was communicative and flexible in arranging a time to complete the work as I awaited 2 new toilets to arrive. He showed up on time, was friendly and got to work straight away. He ran into some issues thanks to our older home and a previous DIY owner, but got the necessary materials to complete the job. Even though it took much longer than he anticipated, Rakeem honored the quoted price + cost of new materials. Quality and professional work

  • Triangle Classic Homes Inc
Carl and his crews were punctual and did fine work. It was easy to communicate with him and Ralph. Any texts were answered right away.In spite of shortages caused by Covid, they finished the job in the time frame Carl had suggested.

  • Lynn's Renovation Gang LLC
Great! Lynn and team finished our basement adding a main room, bedroom and bathroom ... and associated plumbling, electrical, HVAC (mini-split system) and insulation. Lynn gave us a quote after a thorough walkdown of the basement for the work that was a bit higher than others, but it was very detailed which gave me confidence (she came and explained quote in person) that they would do it within budget and I would not be surprised by costly additions. Work progressed quickly once they got started. They were very open to my inspections and minor requests for changes ... and were always checking to make sure each step was being completed to my satisfaction. Lynn also made many design suggestions as the work progressed. She also put me in touch with suppliers for the items we needed to provide. She only asked for progress payments as work was completed. Quality of work was great. And, just as important, Lynn and her crew were very pleasant to work with ... nice people, and professional. My only gripe was that after completing about 99% of the work it took them a few weeks to finish off the punchlist of open items. But, in the end we were totally satisfied. Would definetly hire them again and recommend them (already did to my neighbor!! and they hired her) to anyone looking for home improvement projects

  • Shelton Plumbing Co
Mr. Shelton came the very next morning after I called him. It took him all of five minutes to remedy the situation. While he was there I asked if he could look at my bathroom sink because the stopper would not go up and down. Even though that was not an issue on the original call he kindly fixed that too. He is punctual, professional, responsive, and he teaches you what to do to keep your plumbing running well and what to do in case of an emergency should a pipe burst. I would recommend him to any of my friends or family

  • Greene Hunt Inc
I’m really impressed with Greene Hunt and would absolutely recommend them for any job. We had a pretty big job and needed our entire house two story home repiped, a new water heater, and new toilets installed. We had a few people come out and decided to go with Greene Hunt because of the care Archie took when he first came out and how easy it was to communicate with him. We had a pretty big crew out for two days doing the repiping and stuff and they were all great. Like I said, it was a big job, but they were respectful of our property, efficient, friendly, neat, and did quality work. I felt comfortable enough with the crew that I left them alone at the house for a few hours while I ran errands. Really glad I went with Greene Hunt. They did fantastic work, finished on time, and Archie and the crew at our house were all fantastic

  • Jayks LLC
I had an issue with my toilet overflowing. After reading countless reviews for a plumber, I decided to use Jayks. They were better than amazing. Despite some unexpected setbacks, Efrain and Cody worked until the problem was solved. I spoke with Jason concerning the cost, and the price was very reasonable. I definitely would use Jayks again!!!!

  • Alexander Services
Great. They had to come back because the hardware needed adjusting (self-purchased), and didn't blink an eye. Would hire them again.

  • Edison’s Remodeling LLC
Fair price, no surprises, all work done in 9 working days (11 calendar days because of one weekend), and honest.
    Russell G.
  • Alexander Services
The Sr. Plumbing Tech was very helpful and knowledgeable and took the time to explain his observations and recommendations.

Plumbing FAQ

  1. How much does a plumber cost?

Answer: The cost of a plumber ranges from $175 to $480, with a national average of $330. However, the price will vary depending on job complexity, timing, location, supplies and materials, permits, and level of expertise. These costs typically include toilet repairs, faucet installations, and leaky pipes. In addition to the service call, you may also need to budget for haul-away and trip fees often required during more complicated jobs. Ask your local plumbing contractor about these fees before hiring them.

  2. How much does a plumber charge to replace a toilet?

Answer: On average, you can expect to pay your local plumbing contractor between $125 and $230 to replace an old toilet, with most residential homeowners paying around $150 to $180 for professional installation. You’ll need to consider materials and labor when calculating a final price. Not all toilets are equal. Depending on the brand you choose and the features you want, a new toilet might run you anywhere from $100 to $1,300. Add in the price of labor and installation, and your total project can jump up to $200 and $1,500.

  3. How much does a plumber cost to fix a toilet?

Answer: According to our service providers, it costs roughly $75 to $200 on average to have your toilet repaired. However, this price will vary depending on the complexity of the job and the materials needed for the fix. Repairs can be messy and less-than-pleasant to address, but having a functioning toilet is most definitely necessary. If you’re experiencing problems with your toilet, contact a local, reputable plumbing contractor right away, as avoiding repairs can lead to bigger—and more expensive—issues over time.

  4. Is liquid plumber safe for septic systems?

Answer: Good news! Liquid-Plumr® is safe for septic systems. Most drain cleaners disrupt the pH in your septic tank, which prevents the good bacteria from breaking down septic waste. The chemical make-up in Liquid-Plumr® works with the bacteria to break down waste quickly without harming your septic system. Still, it’s best to confirm with your local plumbing provider if Liquid-Plumr® is the right solution for your system.

  5. How much is it for a plumber to unclog a toilet?

Answer: Even the most well-maintained toilets experience clogs. It’ll cost you an average of $200 to $700 to unclog your toilet. Severe clogs will require a more comprehensive repair method, so check with your local plumbing contractor to determine the best approach for unclogging your toilet.

  6. Is Liquid-Plumr®, or any other liquid drain cleaner, safe for septic systems?

Answer: Yes and no. Liquid-Plumr® and other drain cleaners are most effective when used sparingly (one to three times a year). Repeated use of liquid plumber on drains could deteriorate your pipes and cause more damage. If your pipes clog frequently, put down the liquid plumber and call your local plumbing contractor immediately.
