"We received bids from Artistic Landscapes and one other provider. We were impressed by Chris's professionalism and his design. We also thought his pricing was very fair. This patio project was completed in two days, and the results were absolutely amazing. Chris's team arrived promptly in the morning, were extremely respectful of the space, worked extremely hard, and cleaned up after themselves. I was particularly impressed that after completing the patio, two members of his team returned to place new sod and grass around the patio where the machine had torn up the grass, the painstaking effort they put into making it fit the curves of the new patio, and, again, the cleanup. The attention to detail was very impressive--I even saw some of Chris's workers on their hands and knees making small chips in the antique-looking, rustic stones we chose to make it look more authentic. We have received many, many compliments on this new patio and feel that it was money very well spent. No funny business, no hidden charges (when Chris found that subterranean structure and had his team remove it, he told us about it so we weren't surprised by the extra charges), and he stayed within the original estimate, notwithstanding the unexpected structure. During the planning phase of the project, Don Kilty listened carefully to our ideas regarding the patio design and offered extensive advice, ultimately developing a plan that met all of our expectations. He was quick to provide a quote, and the amount was more reasonable than the other landscapers. ?The job presented some unusual challenges - two large basement window wells consisting of thick concrete needed to be jack hammered and removed ?- that Kingscapes handled with a high degree of professionalism. The on-site project manager, Donnie Nelson, was exceptionally pleasant and communicative and also exhibited extraordinary dedication and attention to detail over the course of the job. ?He personally laid out the layers of the patio and placed each paver himself. ?He and his crew were there everyday, even working late some nights. ?They cleaned up well at the end of each day. ?We would gladly recommend Kingscapes to others for similar work.?"
