"I called Dan from Old Pro Carpentry to get a bid on an installation of a sliding glass patio door.  I was in a time crunch due to other projects that were going on when I discovered the patio door needed to be replaced, and needed to be done before I could go on with the other projects. 
I told Dan the absolute last date of installation I was willing to have and he told me he would make sure that date was met, even if that meant he would come in on a Sunday to finish it.  The job was a small one, and I knew he was busy, but he still made the time to get the project done. 
A couple hiccups along the way---the door that was ordered opened the wrong way, and I wanted to make sure it was switched.  Dan was prompt at fixing the error by offering to reorder the door or figure out a way to get a hold of the manufacturer to see if there was a way to switch the way the doors opened.  He made sure the error was fixed promptly and was done in time so I could get my other projects finished, at no extra cost to me. 
Another hiccup---a small scratch on the exterior door.  Barely noticeable and not sure if it was the lumber yards fault or if it was scratched during installation.  Once the screen door was installed, it hid the scratch/scuff.  Not an issue. 
I recommend Dan---In fact we never drew up a contract---business was done on a handshake agreement and he held up his end of his deal.

"The work ethic of this team of specialists was phenomenal. Once they started actual construction, they came every day and worked efficiently. No time was wasted waiting for some other action to finish.. Example; before the destruction of the wall was complete, work was already in progress on the new wiring and plumbing.  Inspections were scheduled into the tight schedule so that no time was lost waiting to go to the next phase. In the beginning, when Vlad came to to make a pitch to get to do this project, he measured everything. Everything!  His bid (estimate) for the job was accurate.  And the cabinets he designed and ordered fit perfectly, though I never saw him re-measure anything. Perfectionist would be an appropriate description. The job was completed on schedule and the kitchen is gorgeous.It looks like the work of a perfectionist.  It is just what we wanted; well designed, good looking and efficient and a pleasure to work in.
In addition to the kitchen remodel, we also had this team work on renovating a small bedroom turning what was a large patio-like double door into a wide open archway, thus expanding the useful size of the room.  The floor in this room was also changed from carpet to wood, as was also done in the living-dining rooms and the hall. 
The team cleaned up everything and carried debris and waste down 3 floors every day. They removed it totally so that the condo residents were not inconvenienced by our project. I heartily recommend them to everyone for kitchen or bathroom renovation and for any other type of work in improving your home. Their name says "cabinets", but they are fully qualified contractors who do excellent work of all types."

"All went very well! Loved working with Sam and his crew. He always responded to my questions very quickly. Any issues were quickly resolved. Love how the house looks now! Total time was 2 months from initial demolition of bathroom to kitchen finish. Seems reasonable based on extent of what we had done. Any delays were due to tradesmen not being available but Sam kept us in the loop on that. Would hire again!!"

"The shelves were installed well.  They are very straight.  
We purchased two door knob assemblies because two of the doors in our house would not close.  To our surprise, the handyman said that he could fix the old door knobs that were on the doors, which would keep with the historic look of the doors.  He made a trip to a hardware store in the area that had pieces to fix old doors, and he was able to fix the door knobs without installing new ones.  We didn't know that was possible, so we are very pleased with that.
We are very impressed with the service from this company.  We would definitely use them again.
