"We have a beautiful outcome but we did 75% of the sanding of the deck and 25% of the patio furniture to meet our quality standards. We were told they were meeting industry standards which we did not believe. There were many late arrivals and even two no shows on the part of his subcontractor. The owner was responsive to our complaints but when he saw we could make the deck wood look new by dedicating time to sanding he did concede we were right. Based on the age alone at first we did not feel he agreed it could be achieved. After his subcontractor left we would go over his sanding even of the patio furniture. We were told all boards that needed replacement were part of the estimate but we had to find them, usually after our finger would pop through in order for him to finally change out all of the rotting boards. He took before and after pics, telling us after the fact for advertising, they are not accurate of his subcontractors work. And despite putting in a combined 32 hours of hard labor sanding, as the owners, we were offered no discount for how this all played out. His subcontractor did two things well, power wash and staining. But he used no eye for detail like we had been promised ahead of time. We will consider hiring the owner for future jobs if he does the work himself but never again with a subcontractor."

Company owner, Ricardo, contacted me quickly after my search on Home Advisor, and then visited my house on my schedule to inspect the deck, offer suggestions, explain how they do a deck project and write a proposal on the spot. The price was fair for a two-day (over three) job. Once we had a window of agreeable weather, the crew got right to the job, and worked as long as it took to finish while the weather cooperated.The cleaning and sanding work prior to staining was particularly impressive and made the deck look great. The crew was polite, maintained a clean work site, did a nice job of protecting adjacent plants, and left the area very clean. Highly recommend!"

"I would without any hesitation, recommend FreshLook Painting for any of your painting needs. We are relatively new to Minnesota, and didn't have a lot of knowledge about local contractors, but we certainly were pleased that we found Ryan and his crew! From start to finish, everything went well. We are super excited about the brand new look to our house, It was transformed from the 1980's to a modern looking home! Ryan knows what he was talking about! He gave some very helpful guidance on the color selection. His advice was spot on, because the color turned out to be exactly what we were envisioning. He also walked around the house with me and offered suggestions on what to paint the main house color (blue-gray) and what to paint the trim color (white) to help accent certain features, or in some cases, disguise other less desirable features. The crew did an incredible job. I'm still amazed how they made some of the window frames look brand new. The crew was friendly and respectful. We have received many compliments and most people can't believe it's the same house. You can't go wrong with Ryan and his crew!"
