The repairman, Shaun, arrived quickly and was very friendly and professional. The only problem I have with Precision Door is, the price. The amount was $150.00 to connect a wire , that split in two, one part of the wire was on the left side of the garage door, the other on the right.

Way overpriced. When we spoke over the phone were told not to try and lower the stuck garage door ourselves so we left it. We were then charged $215.00 for them to safely lower the door it took all of 20 seconds. $85 charged for brackets which look to cost $8.95-12.88 at the home repair stores, and $95 for cables which look to cost $12.95-14.95. It cost over $400 for 20 minutes work to replace cables. Did not even grease rollers, rails or chain (which our previous repair companies included in their services at no additional cost) it would have cost an additional $60.00 to have them do this. Also a $14.00 Fuel Surcharge-while I do understand and have no problem with the charge itself, $14 seems excessive, that is equivalent to to 75-90 travel miles and I am sure they did not travel that far. The DID wave the $85.00 service fee since they did the repair work.

Not only did he come on a Saturday, but the needed work was assessed and clearly explained along with the cost. Also completed was a 25-point inspection of both doors so we can plan for routine replacement and maintenance. A friendly professional tech, replacement parts readily available on the truck, and clean efficient work completed in a short time, all top-notch. Do not hesitate to call this company.
