Nick helped us remodel and add to what was an old farmhouse. He blended the old with the new artfully as he custom designed window trim and built additions on three sides. He installed the windows and did the framing, trusses and walls. It was a long process that required direct collaboration...

Roger was fantastic - he helped me understand pricing, shared budgets along the way, was willing to see after business hours to accommodate my work schedule, etc. He was great to work with. He did bring in an architect that operated without a contract (my bad for letting it happen) and won't...

From the first meeting we liked Mark White and his straight-forward advice. He was honest and recommended that we engage an architect and come up with a plan before going further. He recommended an architect but also said we could use another one as long as we got CAD drawings. During our second...

Brooks with Northstar Contracting did an excellent job installing a tricky and detailed ceiling soffit in our basement. He did a great job, and the work looks fantastic. I am an architect and thought I had the details down, but Brooks provided a lot of great ideas for tricky conditions and...

We worked with the Phillips Garden landscape architect to the design project.  He was excellent.  Very professional and very knowledgeable.  Though we came to them late in the year, they worked us into their schedule because of our water concerns for the area landscaped.  The whole process from...

I'm an architect and value workmanship and service above all. Even though a roofing project is seemingly straight forward, no house is the same. Working with Rob and the entire Topside crew at my own home was a true partnership where they listened to my concerns and shared observations that...

We were planning a home renovation with a 2nd floor addition to our 1903 home.  At first contact, Gary was responsive and met me at my home to discuss the project. Initially, he stated that he would be unable to provide a true estimate without more detail and suggested that we hire an architect...

We worked with an architect and Terra Firma was a recommendation. They were helpful from the beginning and we couldn't be happier about the estimate, write-ups, timing estimation, work done, how they dealt with subs, guaranteeing of work afterwards, etc. I could go on and on, but they are...

It ended up with five detailed drawings that I used and to go out and get bids for the work. They gave me enough to exceed price and the other architects that I have talked to would just give me so much an hour price with an estimate of how many hours it would take. When I went with Boyle, I...
