Received bids from four contractors. Topside and one other came in within a few dollars of one another and about 10% to 15% less than the other two bids. I ultimately went with Topside because I liked the feeling of having a constant point of contact with a smaller company vs. project getting handed from sales to scheduling to production departments at a larger company. Andrew came out to make the measurements for the bid, coordinated supply drop-off, and was on site the day-of to check in on the progress. Rob (the owner) stopped by that evening to inspect the completed job. The work was scheduled promptly and completed professionally. Would happily chose them again if we have other exterior work done in the future.

They started last year and never finished. They have been ignoring our phone calls and giving us a very hard time. My wife and I will be paying our home improvement loan for potentially 30 years and it makes us sick because so many things have gone wrong. I Will update this with an honest and very detailed account of how they fix their mistakes when the time comes. Hopefully this week.

You should see those guys swing a hammer. Topside worked to our specs and completed a clean job in less time than they estimated. We're very pleased and will bring them back for the house roof which thankfully doesn't need work for a few years.

Beautiful roof, painless process, low price. They started 7:15am and were done by noon (we have a small house 1200 sq feet) Lawn was completely clean ... no debris was left anywhere.

The estimate process was efficient, appropriately priced and through. Rob, the President, was quick to answer my questions and get back to me. There were samples and other materials made available and the bid was turned around the quickest of the companies we contacted. This all added to our comfort in choosing Topside. They were ready for our business and wanted to do the work. The crew was prompt in arriving, and quick to get to work. They were friendly to my family and the clean up at the end of the project was well done. Rob stopped by to check on progress during the day and again at the end of the project. Everyone was very professional and the crew left our house looking just as it did when they arrived-- plus a beautiful new roof!

Everything was very professional. Rob was extremely easy to work with. He dropped off shingle samples and gave me addresses to look at work he'd done with colors I liked. We set a date and the crew of about 5-6 guys showed up at 8am and finished by 4:30. They were very respectful of our plants and property. I saw them sweep for nails, however, after they left I kept finding nails. I called Jeff, the foreman, and the crew came back that day and spent 1/2 hour sweeping for nails. I couldn't be happier with the work done, and I would highly recommend Topside to anyone!

We were in a pinch to get the work done - just a few days before closing on the house. Topside came the same day and did the work right then and there (it was a minor repair). We were so thankful.

Rob responded almost immediately to an email inquiring about an estimate. He came out to the property within a day or two and submitted a proposal to me via email. His bid came in lower than two other contractors. Work was scheduled for the following week. Dumpster arrived the day before the work occurred. Workers arrived about 7am and were off of the property at about 5pm. Dumpster was gone the next day. Very happy with the experience we had working with Rob, he communicated with us in a timely manner, was clear about what he needed from us and what was going to happen, and his crew did an excellent job cleaning up to boot. I gladly recommend hiring Rob and will use his services again in the future if the need arises.

Fantastic job. The crew arrived at 7:30 am as scheduled and were done by 3. Complete cleanup, quiet, respectful crew with a good foreman. There was a problem I discovered later with a gutter coming loose. Topside came out and repaired the gutter, although, it turns out that it was likely a problem with the gutter installation years ago by someone else. Topside cut the stucco at roofline for the stucco people to finish after the roof was done. Best experience, ever, with a contractor. Competitive price, on- time, on budget, quality work. Rob, the owner, did the bid and was responsive to my questions and concerns.

I'm an architect and value workmanship and service above all. Even though a roofing project is seemingly straight forward, no house is the same. Working with Rob and the entire Topside crew at my own home was a true partnership where they listened to my concerns and shared observations that would make the project more successful. The final product, their workmanship and service exceeded my expecations. I'm happy to pay a little extra to get that experience, so it was the ultimate win when I consider that it was the lowest of my many cost estimates.

We were very pleased with the end result of the construction. On our initial meeting with the owner and supervisors they gave us some great ideas of what would give us the best look for the house. The roofers and siders were professional, efficient, and did a great job on the clean-up. The addition blends beautifully with the rest of the house, and we would highly recommend this company.

I called and met with Rob for an estimate the next day. I received the estimate promptly in my email the next morning. The crew arrived promptly and did an excellent job. There were alot of workers and they completed the job in one day. I have used Topside before and was always pleased with the work. My father-in-law used Topside and recommended them to me. I highly recommend Topside.

My sister-in-law recommended Topside, Inc. when we were talking about needing to get estimates for a new roof. We had an estimate already from a large contracting company. We called Rob and he was very professional, responsive, and nice. When we received the estimate we were happily surprised because it was much more reasonable than the estimate we received from the other contracting company. Topside also gave us options in standard shingles and upgrades. Since Topside was highly recommended and had a better price, we decided this was the way to go. When we decided on the upgraded shingles, Rob sent the sample out to us immediately so that we could see the product and choose from the colors at home. Rob scheduled the work quickly and was able to make arrangements to do the work even sooner when the weather report showed rain for the already scheduled day. The workers who arrived at our house were professional and nice. Everything was cleaned up very well and there isn't a single piece of debris or nails around. We received excellent service and results. We'll recommend Topside to our family and friends in the future!

Despite being very busy before the first snow came, Jeff came out on a Sunday to get the roofing heat cables up in time for Monday's snow, which I appreciated very much. I also had a lot of questions regarding a roofing and insulation quote I had received from them previously, all of which he was able to answer thoroughly and professionally. Both Rob and Jeff were very good - professional and helpful.
