Jason and his crew did a fantastic job at a reasonable price for my landscaping project.. A smaller, local company beats the larger landscape companies by providing great service, knowledge, communication and expectations of the project. Had a WONDERFUL experience with Jason Black and his crew. We reached out to him in the spring, met with him several times to go over potential plans, got everything ordered, and they came out and got it all done quickly and efficiently. They worked so hard, and it is beautiful! Removed and hauled off all existing rock (biiiig job!), laid dirt, planted, and laid beautiful red mulch. They were all very nice, respectful, professional, and communicative. Price was excellent as well. They were recommended to me by another company that does not specialize in this work, and I'm glad they did!

Jason created a great plan for the space around our home after a major addition. His bid was competitive. Jason was onsite with his team for most of the project overseeing the installation. They laid plastic and river rock in areas along with mulch in others. Plantings were then added. We are really happy with the finished product and are planning to use Jason in the spring to do additional plantings in other areas of our yard and to install a water feature.

Jason and his crew were reliable, knowledgeable, polite, and very punctual. The work was done exactly the way it was described to us. His turn around time was very fast, and the quality of his work was excellent. We would highly recommend Jason for you landscaping needs.

Wow, an incredible job. It started with a beautiful design by Jason, which was then implement by Jason and his team. Jason was able to quickly adapt to changes and additions in the plan. I looked at six other companies, and Jason by far offered the best design and value. His team was very friendly and all were willing to answer any questions I had.

We wanted to replace our current rock/plants around front yard and side of house, as well as remove/replace some bushes in the back yard. We asked Jason to suggest design with little to no maintenance. He gave more thought to the design than some other designers who also gave higher estimates. The plants should flower at different times, and have nice color contrasts, and be easy maintenance for someone who doesn't want to pay for annual landscaping upkeep. We are very pleased with the design, quality of work, outcome, and value for what we paid.

In April Jason came out to look at our projects and get an idea of what we wanted to have done. The next day we received a drawing and an estimate via email. Last week (June 10 right on schedule) he and his crew removed dead shrubs, rock, timbers from the front yard and dead shrubs from the backyard. They put several new plants and soil in the front and replanted some shrubs we had. They put in a low boulder wall and mulched the area in the front yard. In the backyard they planted seven new shrubs .They left the work area tidy when the day ended. On the first day we asked Jason to replace some sod in the backyard and transplant a couple of plants and put in new ones (not in the original plan, but he was very willing to do the extra work). .An area of the paver patio in the backyard had sunk with time. His crew removed the sunken pavers, leveled the area, cleaned the pavers, and put them back in the original pattern. The patio looks like new. The crew was very pleasant and worked hard. All of this was done in two days! We have worked with three different landscapers over the years, and Jason was the best. He was very hands-on and his attention to detail was impressive. Jason was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating. We highly recommend him and would use him again in the future.

From start to finish our experience was outstanding. From our first communication with Jason (he called back within a day!), setting a time to walk through our yard, understanding what we wanted/needed, a fair estimate, right down to the landscape team was professional and did great work. The work they did was top-notch, courteous staff, efficient and overall the end product looks great. At the end of their work day, Jason walked us through all that was done and gave instruction and recommendations to maintain our new, refreshed landscape. We would for certain hire the company again.

A++. Jason and his crew are fantastic; honest, professional, thoughtful and friendly. We interviewed several companies before hiring him. His price was very fair and his ideas were superb. (Love our downspout drain boxes and artistic placement of boulders.) We had several sub issues on our addition and it was refreshing to work with a company that goes above and beyond to ensure everything is done properly and on time. We requested a couple changes and they were wonderfully flexible not to mention they always kept the work space tidy and respected our property. The yard looks amazing and they exceeded our expectations. We cannot say enough good things about this company. Without question, we’ll hire him for any future needs.

The job went well. We were given enough advance notice on possible work dates. We also knew what we wanted done and we are happy with the completed job. The crew worked well and fast. We thought the price was reasonable for the content of the job which involved a lot of rock removal.

Jason and his crew did what they said they would do, for the price that they quoted and they came in the time frame they gave. In all respects this crew was polite, sensitive to not blocking us out of our driveway and they cleaned up very well after themselves. The work looks great. This is the second job that Jason did for us. Obviously, we were happy enough with the first job to hire him again. When one of the plants went South from the first job, he replaced it. This time he created a design to address a problem area in the back yard that included taking out a small tree and planting three new ones. Cleaning out a bunch of overgrowth, grading it and planting a row of honeysuckle to act as a hedge. He put down sod in the area that was cleaned up and mulched all of the plants and trees. Jason was very patient about explaining what we needed to do to take care of the new plants. It takes a significant amount of patience with me as I am a non-gardening type and need details about watering and so on.

If an A+ was an option I would give them to this company across the board. We had a couple other company's come out to bid our job and they were way over priced, and the plans although beautiful, were nothing what we had in mind. Jason responded to our request for a bid in a very timely manner, in fact he came the same week we called and on a Saturday. He had our initial plans ready for viewing in a weeks time. He listened to our wants, and desires and came up with a plan that did just that and for 1/4 the price of the other companies. The finished product is beautiful, manageable and more then we expected. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

Jason and team were great throughout the process. He took our ideas and wish list, tweaked them to look better, and then retreated them until we were happy with the product and price point. The original space his team prepped was not quite what we had settled on and he came over as soon as we called and got it right. The patio is fantastic and the team cleaned up the surrounding area (grass, etc) very well. We are having him redo the front of the house landscape this year, too.

Excellent! Jason worked closely with us to change our front yard landscape design plan two or three times to meet our needs. Jason and his crew did a great job taking out the old bushes and putting in new ones. He delivered high quality work on time, within cost estimate, and was very professional.
