The companies Customer Verification statement contradicts the statement that was written in the Comments section of the Chimney Service Report. Having seen the inspection as it took place and having years of experience and knowledge of chimney safety, I do not agree with the comments made as to the safety of my chimney flue. Statements made by the technician during the cleaning also contradict his written comments as he stated that my practices in using the fireplace were appropriate and encouraged. This company was the most expensive of about a half dozen bids that I received. Though I was tempted to cancel, I did not since I had booked the appointment prior to receiving the other bid and wanted the chimney professionally cleaned prior to this seasons use. The company owner did not respond to a contact that he initiated on Yelp prior to the work being done, where I asked for his viewpoint on matching bids by his competitors. Overall, the work provided was done well."

I got several bids and Johnâ s bid was very reasonable but we just felt best about his character. The day of the work they were prompt and professional and finished the work in 1 day.
