Customers say: Super punctual

"It went very well. I have used D&T for several repairs and each time they did a great job. They called ahead so I could meet them at home, they were very professional and very technical. They explained the problem and the repair and never left a mess and the repair charges were very reasonable. I will call these guys for any future appliance repairs."

"It went really well. I used the Omega Force Appliance Repair company. Their repairman Seth was very knowledgeable with dishwasher problems, He had the parts on hand and he was able to make the repair right away. He did have to come back to adjust the float switch on the dishwasher. He didn't charge me for making the adjustment, and when I ran the dishwasher it ran like it did when it was new. I'm very pleased and would use them again. I highly recommend Omega Force Appliance Repair!!!"

"He sent me quotes of what he would be charging me ahead of time which was great as the prices were reasonable. He was able to diagnose and fix the problem at the same time so charged me the lowest price. He explained everything. He was professional and polite. I was super happy with the service! Will hire him again if I need something."

Appliance Sales questions, answered by experts

Deciding whether to repair or replace a small appliance depends on its quality, age, and the cost of the repair. It is often more affordable to repair them, with an average repair cost of $150 versus a replacement cost of around $300. If you have a high-quality or top-of-the-line small appliance, it is almost always more cost-effective to repair it. However, a common guideline is to lean toward replacement if the repair cost is more than half the price of a new one. If the appliance is already nearing the end of its useful life, replacement might be the better long-term choice. A professional appliance technician can help you decide by estimating the appliance's remaining lifespan after the repair.

A local small appliance repair company or technician is your best bet if you’re looking for someone to service a small appliance. Homeowners more often look for major appliance repair specialists, meaning the demand is higher, as is the number of companies that handle the repairs. If you’re looking to repair a toaster, microwave, blender, or other small appliance, you should hire a technician that specializes in small appliances.

Yes, electric-start snow blowers need to be plugged in to start, but you can unplug them and go once they’re up and running. Simply plug the snow blower into an outdoor outlet and press the start button. Once it starts, you can unplug it and use it freely. The idea for these types of snow blowers is to simplify the starting process from the typical pull-string starts.

The cost of home appliances ranges from $350 to $8,000 or more, depending on the brand, type of appliance, and features. Additional cost factors include any hookups that need to be installed, such as gas, plumbing, or electrical. Keep in mind that major appliances, such as refrigerators, washers and dryers, and water heaters, will cost more than minor appliances, such as microwaves, due to the size, complexity, and essential nature of the item.

Items include refrigerators, washers, dryers, and stoves. Confirm with your provider for specific items.
