This has been a terrible experience overall. We had them come in for roof and window replacement. The roof went fine. However, the windows have been a nightmare. Oversight for crew appears to be nonexistent. After three days to install 9 windows and one door, not a single one is completed. Everyone has pieces of trim missing, screens not installed. We have found gaps in the trim work. They overfilled the dumpster which led to insulation and other debris blowing out and into my neighbors yard. We had to clean it up. They didn't. They showed up late, around 1pm. Then by 6pm, the workmanship diminished greatly. They stayed until 10 pm even though we have small children in the house. Now we are told that they will return in a few weeks to "touch up" their work. This is no where near the service we were promised by the original salesman who no longer responds to my calls. You would be a fool to work with this company.

I warned people you were storm chasers with a bad reputation. I see nothing but bad reviews on these guys. They claim to be local to my area, I don't think they know what local means. And why are they not knocking on doors at 7 pm in november? Because they are Opportunistic storm chasers.

Home projects are stressful. Even moreso when there's insurance involved, a five digit cost, and timelines to be met. Transparency and communication are non-existent with this company. Our seemingly straightforward roof replacement went from 1 day to 3 upon discovery that there was no decking under our existing roof, so to bring it up to code they needed to add plywood (for $80 a sheet...) Which I get. But that was literally 5 weeks ago. We haven't seen an updated estimate, and neither has our insurance company. We've been told over and over that they were waiting for an updated estimate from the project manager, who told us that isn't his job. Somehow the estimate was magically generated and they've apparently been emailing our insurance company but haven't received a response. When I call the insurance company, they say they haven't received anything since Aug 17. We're almost a week past from the deadline for the depreciation money, despite repeated promises that it wouldn't be an issue. I don't trust a word I hear from anyone at this company. Fingers crossed this will be magically resolved to everyone's satisfaction soon.

I can't say enough about the excellent job Legacy Restoration did on the roofing project in our senior community! They negotiated a great settlement with our insurance company and completed our 11 buildings (22 units) in only 5 days. The customer service and communication was top notch and they even hand delivered detailed itineraries to every resident. As the President of our HOA, I could not ask for more from our representative Kasey Lindala. He kept us informed every step of the way and the team did an awesome job with cleanup when the project was completed. I would highly recommend Legacy Restoration to anyone that is looking for a flawless and quality roofing project!

Unfortunately we've had a completely awful experience with Legacy. They were recommended to us to fix our siding that was damaged in a hail storm almost 2 years ago. From day 1 they failed to show up and meet with the adjuster, and submitted an incorrect proposal to the insurance company. This resulted in a year and a half of communications between myself, legacy and the insurance company. Once the insurance was all sorted, they scheduled a day to do the work. What I hadn't realized is that they were just subcontracting the work out, and the job site supervisor wouldn't be there more than a few times to check in. The first crew that was assigned didn't show up, so they assigned a different crew. The new guy did show up, but they worked until very late in the evening (left at 10pm, told me 7 at the latest) and were working in the dark. The quality of the siding was horrible - the drip edges were cut sloppily, the rear of the house has siding that is coming off and the caulking around each window was awful. They broke a window and a doorbell and it took multiple meetings and months to get some of this fixed. The guys tasked with repairing these issues have been great to work with, but they can't undo all of the terrible work that was initially performed. I wish there were some redeeming qualities, or that I could highlight a few positives. All in all I am really bummed that I spent 2 years trying to replace my siding, only to have it look worse than it did before (even with the hail damage). Of course they want us to pay 100% of the bill (Over $20,000) even though corners were cut and it looks terrible.

The sales rep, Alexander, was extremely knowledgeable and efficient. He handled everything with our insurer and got the work scheduled promptly. The work crew was exceptional! They were efficient, professional, and SO hard working. I couldn't be happier with the care they took of our home and landscaping, as well as the superb cleanup at completion of the job. I'd definitely recommend Legacy as a top-tier contractor.

We were very happy with Legacy Restoration with our roof replacement. Our Sales Rep Nicholas Ciaschini did a great job inspecting the old roof pointing out the hail damage and assuring us that we had a claim to make with our insurance. Nicholas was very pleasant, personable, and professional. Everything went smooth from installation to cleanup. Legacy Restoration replaced our roof. The entire process was seamless and simple. Our rep Josh walked me through the entire process without missing a thing. From selection to dealing with insurance claim the process was top-notch and speedy. Josh and the Legacy team took care of everything so I was not consumed with the process. Neighbors recently replaced their roof but doesn't look as nice as ours because Legacy paid attention to little details that made an aesthetic difference. After installation the crew clean-up was spotless as if they weren't there. Will use them for siding replacement and highly recommend Legacy Restoration

Wind had blown shingles off my roof and needed to be replaced. The shingles I had on the roof were no longer made so insurance paid for a totally new roof. Karen at Legacy was wonderful to work with to get my roof scheduled for a time that was convenient for me and this really made the project much less stressful. The workers were fast, very professional and had excellent workmanship. I hadn't realized how old and beat up the old roof was until the new roof was installed... it really looks nice. The workers also did a great job of cleaning up all the old roofing material and the bits of general construction materials. I am very happy with my new roof.

Very well. Work was done quickly, and thoroughly. Our roof needed a complete re-do, due to storm damage, and out of date building code. They handled everything. Very pleased with the final product.

Legacy managed all aspects of the shingle replacement process; from Insurance concerns with tedious details explained to the clean up of my yard after the re-shingling was finished with magnets to pickup nails/screws. There was solid communication through out this project and follow through and followup from beginning to the end. Legacy roofing crew arrived at 7 a.m. and finished by 4 p.m. I was visited by the job supervisor the next day to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Their performance was what you hope would happen when you hire someone to completely manage a project like this. My experience with Legacy was extremely positive and I'd highly recommend the service they provided.

I am pleased with the product I received from Legacy Restoration. There were minor hiccups in the project execution, which initiated after a hail storm in July 2019 and was not completely closed out until spring of 2020. The roofing install took place shortly before Thanksgiving 2019. I had a change of project manager during the project, but both project managers were responsive with only one exception. The responsiveness was resolved to my satisfaction. There was snow on the ground during the install process. This made the cleanup more difficult for the crew and led to many more nails being left in my yard than I had been expecting. Legacy returned to my home at least 3 or 4 times in the following months and successfully cleaned up my yard to my satisfaction. Overall I am very pleased with Legacy. No project is 100% without issue, but Legacy stood behind their work and I would recommend them to others. The only reason I have marked N/A for "Price" for this review is because it was paid for by my insurance company and I do not know how Legacy's costs compare to other companies.

I worked with Legacy Restoration to replace our roof that had been damaged in a storm last summer. Tim Farrand was the representative and I found him to be very professional and responsive. He did a great job providing product options and answering all of my questions. The work was completed in one day and the job site was spotless after the work was done. This experience of having our roof and siding assessed and replaced could not have gone better. All along the way Tim, kept us informed and managed the project from start to finish so we did not have to get entangled with details. When I had a question or needed a quick refresher as to where we stood in the process, I could always reach Tim promptly and no question was ever dismissed. Legacy Restoration did an excellent job installing my roof, from beginning to end. The first roofing company that gave me an estimate was just not following through. They were slow in dealing with the insurance company and were not getting the job done. As soon as I contacted Legacy Restoration, they sent out Tim Farrand as my service representative. I could tell right away that Tim and Legacy Restoration were going to do the job right. And so they did! As I had questions, Tim would respond with answers for me right away. Also, the insurance company was not going to cover the whole replacement. But Legacy Restoration has a whole department with many years experience dealing with insurance companies. So they did get the insurance company to pay for the entire replacement. The Owens Corning architectural shingles that were used are high quality and just beautiful! The entire job was done in just one day, and the clean up was perfect. Legacy Restoration is a company that you can trust to be honest and to do the job right.

Horrible experience with Legacy Restoration. Had hail damage on my home in August 2019. Once approved by my insurance company, Legacy set a start date. The date came and went and they did not start and there was no communication. After calling several times, I finally got an answer and they started about 1 month later than expected. Progress was VERY slow and communication was non-existent. I came home from vacation and they had installed the incorrect corner pieces. Not only were they a different color than the other pieces, they were much smaller. Construction came to a halt as they had to order the correct material and then remove/install the new. All the while, gutters were partially attached and hanging down, no siding and dumpster in the driveway. Once the material arrived, I got excuse after excuse why they were not coming back to complete the job. They did finally complete the job and hoping they keep their promise to do a cleanup in the spring when the snow is gone. Update 4/21/2020: They were supposed to show up last week to fix the nail pops inside. They finally showed up today, unannounced, to fix them. Also, I went on the roof to clean the windows and noticed that the trim around the windows still had chips from hail damage because they never replaced them. DO NOT USE THEM!!

The hail had not even finished melting when the first of many "storm chasers" rang our doorbell. We ignored most of the sales reps, but decided to let Jigar Brown of Legacy Restoration do an inspection of our home for damage. He calmly explained the number of hail strikes we had on our roof. He had highlighted them with chalk and took pictures. He was confident we had enough damage to have our insurance company pay for a complete replacement, minus our deductible. I told Jigar we were not going to sign anything until I had a chance to check his company out. He welcomed it. I checked with the state, the Better Business Bureau, online reviews and court records in Hennepin, Ramsey and Anoka counties. Legacy Restoration checked out, but I still wanted to hear from a contractor we had used before. Their rep came, inspected and said it was doubtful that the insurance company would pay. We decided to give Legacy a shot at the job. Their rep met our insurance company's claims adjuster during the inspection and State Farm agreed to do a total replacement. A few weeks later the Legacy crew started and finished the job in one day. They are hard workers! The next day our walk around revealed a couple of minor problems, some bent flashing, missing paint on other flashing. I called Legacy and they came out the next day and took care of everything to our satisfaction. Job well done!

Great job by a group of pros, namely Brandon Salley who walked us through the process and delivered the finish product as described. The project went smooth and wasn’t drawn out plus great follow up on any questions or concerns.
