Schmidt Electric Inc was one of the best experiences that I have ever had working with any company. I will never hire another electrical company besides Schmidt's ever again. Mark and his team were incredibly responsive and friendly. Mark came up with creative solutions to give me exactly what I was looking for, and did so for an excellent price and quick turnaround. I showed my father (who is an electrical engineer) a solution that Mark completed for me, and he was so impressed that he immediately did the same thing to his own house.

Mark and Tom are our go-to electricians for every project we've had so far. They upgraded our 150 amp panel to 200 amp, added a surge protector and exterior shutoff (required by code). They helped us add and replace dozens of recessed lighting fixtures, and most recently roughed-in electrical for a large master suite and kitchen remodel project. Mark and Tom show up on time (between 7:30am - 8:00am) and get the work done very efficiently and high quality.

Mark responded to my email inquiry first thing in the morning and was at my house that day.
He diagnosed our problem with outdoor fixtures, made the repair and educated me on how to avoid the problem in the future. Can't recommend this company highly enough!

Mark and his helper arrived as planned at 8:00 am in the morning, did the jobs (I had to go to a doctor's appointment but I think they were done by 11:30 am) and they even cleaned up any dust, insulation and debris from their work. This is a very vaulted home and the fan and the canned light were on steep and high vaults. Polite, helpful and I would certainly use them again.

We just had a siding replacement job and contacted a couple companies and we asked for a rough estimate of cost. Since the estimate was based on our description, we expected it would just be a ballpark estimate for the job. The Schmidt estimate of $750 seemed to be acceptable, since we needed it done fairly soon and we wanted it to be done correctly. The morning of the job, we were thrilled to discover that two guys showed up. I went through everything with them and then they went right to work. They were very fast and professional--no problems! They came in way below the estimate and were done in about 2 hours. They exceeded ALL of our expectations!

Mark was here exactly on time, and was very helpful in giving me advice on the heating options for my home. He was willing to go up in my attic that is very hard to get to and he crawled around up there in tons of insulation and even put some mouse bait up there for me. He did the work quickly and professionally. I also felt he was very reasonable on his prices. I would definitely call him the next time I need an electrician!

Mark does a great job. We leave a key for him to enter our house, as we fully trust him and he's done work for us in the past. He is always one time and provides estimates in a timely manner. It's also great that we can communicate with him via email once he's had an initial look at the project in mind. He always does his work quickly and efficiently. We only know he's been there because we see the new outlet - otherwise, there's absolutely no mess or indication he's been there.

I spent about $125 on that service and it turned great. They were able to crawl up into a narrow space in the garage that I would have never gotten into myself and installed it to my specifications. The president of the company came out and he is always very friendly, professional, on time, and hardworking.

The guy was really nice, and he was able to put everything in place, and it was a quick and easy process. They charged $480 to put in the tube and the fan. They came early in the morning, and they were good.

I contacted Schmidt Electric and informed them of my needs. Carol, the office manager, was able to have their electrician stop by the same day to take a look at my situation and provide a bid. He offered the option of having me dig the trench for running the wire as a cost savings measure, which I thought was a great idea. In the next week, I was able to dig the trench and reconnected with Schmidt to let them know I was ready for them to return. Carol scheduled the electrician to come out later that week. He arrived as scheduled and he worked efficiently and even closed most of the trench for me. The work was completed on schedule, professionally and on bid. I intend to use Schmidt Electric for all future electrical work at my home.

"UNFORTUNATELY, THIS REPORT IS THE FIRST TIME WE HAVE HEARD OF ANY PRICING COMPLAINTS. WE HAVE HAD A FEW TELEPHONE CONVERSATIONS REGARDING A DEFECTIVE DIMMER. WE IMMEDIATELY RESPONDED TO THEIR CONCERN FOR THEIR HOT DIMMER. THERE WAS NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE DUE TO THIS BEING A PART OF OUR WARRANTY AGREEMENT. WE HAVE A SIGNED CONTRACT APPROVING OUR PRICING AND TERMS. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED ON MARCH 14TH AND SCHMIDT ELECTRIC HAS YET TO BE PAID. WE HAVE COMPLETELY FULL-FILLED OUR SERVICE AGREEMENT. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION IS VERY IMPORTANT TO US. WE ARE VERY WELL RESPECTED IN THE INDUSTRY. SCHMIDT ELECTRIC HAS A GREAT RATING WITH ANGIE'S LIST. THESE COMMENTS ARE VERY UNFAIR AND UPSETTING TO SCHMIDT ELECTRIC. WE HAVE LEFT SEVERAL (UNRETURNED) MESSAGES AND WILL CONTINUE TO TRY AND RESOLVE THIS MATTER."
