"We had a french patio door and 11 windows replaced in our home in Stillwater, Mn. We were extremely pleased with all areas of the process. Although the project was originally planned for mid November and did not start until mid-December and the weather created a few issues, the project was completed in a timely manner once it was started. I was very pleased with our installation crew: Chris, Gabe and Tanner. They worked very hard, were very considerate and punctual. Our sales person, Chris, did an excellent job in explaining the construction and product, Marvin Infinity windows and doors. The QC inspector, Josh was extremely thorough. Very little work had to be redone but Josh made sure every scratch and defect was replaced. We were extremely pleased with the thoroughness of his work. Every member of the Lindus team was professional, polite, informative and respectful. We listen to Andy Lindus on WCCO radio and that was the reason we choose Lindus Construction. The cost of our project was high and more than I expected to pay but we are very pleased with the end result."

Underpinning a foundation is when a contractor installs deep piers under your foundation to provide support. Professionals often use this foundation repair method when the soil underneath the foundation is no longer strong enough to support the house evenly. Underpinning a foundation often comes with other repairs to tackle the source of the problem. For example, a contractor may regrade your yard around your home’s foundation to make sure water drains away from your house.

If improperly installed, an egress window can compromise your foundation’s structural integrity, so it’s important to work with a pro to ensure your foundation remains in good shape. Any money you may save on a DIY egress window installation may cost you in the long run if your foundation is damaged in the process.

You could DIY the work, but unless you have plumber’s knowledge for identifying and fixing a slab leak and specialized equipment in your tool shed, attempting to DIY your slab leak repair isn’t a good idea.
