"I highly recommend Bladimir Tree Service the work he and his crew provided my family in Lathrup Village. Bladimir responded to my RFQ for multiple tree removals and stump grinding. The quote was provided very timely and was reasonable for the level of work required. One tree was over 60' tall with huge branches, while the other 2 were large overgrown cedar trees. The team showed up punctually and with all their equipment in tow, and after review of the plan, immediately started to work. I did not need to supervise or micro manage, the work was preformed efficiently, safely, and orderly. The cleanup was marvelously done, and grinding was to specification. No complaints, only praise and kudos for this hard working crew. I absolutely would hire Bladimir should I need future tree services."

Sometimes, knowing when you need tree-trimming services is straightforward, and other times, you have to do some investigating. Some tell-tale signs that you should have your tree trimmed include:

  • A poorly-formed tree with unruly branches, which makes the tree appear odd-shaped. 

  • A tree with tall or large branches that interfere with power lines or your home’s exterior.

  • A tree that provides too much shade in the yard due to branch overgrowth.

If it’s only a smaller branch that has died and you’re keeping an eye on the tree, it’s probably nothing to worry about. Many crucial roots are located just below the soil's surface. If you make severe cuts to roots more than 2 inches in diameter, you risk impacting the tree's water flow and its ability to withstand severe winds or storms. Even cutting roots less than half an inch in diameter under or outside the tree's canopy can cut off its water supply, causing it to decline, die, and eventually topple.
