Mike’s Tree Surgeons / SavATree

Just cancelled my services with SavATree. Although I had great service a previous property, I am completely disappointed with the level of service provided. I've spent over $3000 2023-2024, poor communication and then I am blamed that my Boxwoods are invested "because I didn't call" -even though SavATree has been to my property multiple times. Why pay for expertise that is not accountable?

They are very good, they are kind and they are advised what they need to do.

We booked an estimate with the old company back in 2018 and it was dreadful. Paid for an estimate, tried to schedule work, Mike was super unprofessional and kept blowing us off. Then, we learned they merged with Save A Tree and my neighbor used them and loved them. I called Save a Tree and they came out to do another estimate at no charge. Really loved Meghan. We have not finished getting estimates yet, but I will say if there’s a review before the 2019 merger, it is a different company now. It seems to be a much better company now!

The process all went well. I was particularly happy that things could be expedited because of the storm damage.

Their service was very good. I've used them a number of times over the years. They were very good, on time, professional and clean. They also grind the trees and did it so well.

Ashley, from the company, explained to me there would be a $75 charge to simply come out and give a quote while looking at property. How does someone pay $75 to get a quote??? Find it crazy that someone needs to pay for a consultation of service. How would someone hire the company if they aren’t sure they want them to perform the work. How do you pay for something before you even get an estimate on how much it will cost. I wonder how much business this company give up by not even bidding on jobs...

Mike's Tree Surgeons has been our tree company for our HOA's large private park for at least seven years. I was responsible for working with them during that time. From quoting the jobs to the actual work and regular communication along the way, they always met or exceeded expectations. Their staff knows as much about trees as anyone.

Mike Barger is a great man- so friendly and knowledgeable as a registered Forester and certified Arborist. Our yard looks absolutely wonderful! We are so thrilled with the work that was done. The team worked so hard-such a transformation and now we have a clean slate for this spring and don't feel so overwhelmed of when it was in it's former state. We couldn't thank him enough for taking such good care of us and we will use Mike to maintain our yard in the future. Price was very fair.

The price is reasonable, and they are excellent. I have used them for several years. They really know their stuff. We had a very unhealthy lawn and they was able to bring it back. They're technically very knowledgeable.

I would grade him an A or I wouldn't have stayed with him.

Mike's Tree Surgeons Inc. is an outstanding company. We have used their services for 17 years and have always been thoroughly satisfied. They provide our lawn and landscape fertilization, and check on the health of all of our trees and shrubs. They have thinned out and trimmed back large trees on our property, and provided us with recommendations to keep our yard looking great. The staff members are professional, courteous and timely. If my husband didn't love cutting the lawn so much (he's crazy), we would also use their lawn maintenance services.

I called to schedule and appointment to get a quote on tree stump grinding/removal. They told me they aren't taking any new clients?? What is this, a doctor? Oh wait. Tree surgeon...human surgeon...I guess they are one in the same now. That's too bad.

Very professional and quality work.

Mike was great. He came when he said he would. He was very professional and did a great job! He was careful not to disturb her phone wires and cleaned up where you would not know the tree was freshly cut. He was very fair with his price and nice to my mother to boot.

Mike's Tree surgeons is very professional, with workers that are highly trained and very personable. Our lawn looks great from their fertilizing program and aeration. I like using local small businesses, and they are a well-run company. Mike's Tree Surgeons is extremely professional especially trimming trees or cutting trees down. The workers wear safety equipment, and ropes. They are very methodical in taking trees down, especially in tight spaces. They grind the stumps completely out. We have had other companies not grind out the stump and they charged more than Mike's. Following trimming or tree removal, they rake the lawn up, remove all debris and sweep the drive where the truck was. Several neighbors use Mikes's Tree Surgeons, too. They are not the most expensive, and not the least expensive. They charge a fair price. Their professionalism and methods of safety are well worth the cost. I have used other tree trimming companies because they were cheaper, but I was a nervous watching them because they didn't wear safety equipment and they did not seem to control the branches or pieces of the trees they were dropping. I highly recommend Mike's Tree Surgeons for lawn fertilization and tree trimming/removal.

They person who came out was very knowledeable and we fully intend to use this company in the future. Their pricing was very reasonable as well.
