Wow!! Very impressive company. All 6 of the crew members were wearing helmets and eye protection!! Such an amazing removal and clean up. I would recommend this company again to anyone Great job!!

Everything went extremely well. Communication was good throughout the work being done with the pine trees being lowered to just the right spot. Branches were trimmed back as needed. The overgrown shrubs now look like they should. The team leader, TJ, was very easy to work with. The team appeared to be very experienced and professional. Clean up was excellent. All and all I am very pleased with the outcome.

I would certainly recommend Independence. They did a great job trimming exactly the branches I wanted removed. They cleaned out the dead wood and were very careful not to damage the bushes below or my lawn. They were very professional and cleaned every thing up nicely. All at a very reasonable price.

Everything went as planned, nice job cleaning up. There was a whole squad at work; nice work, professional and friendly.

Tom, the specialist who sprays the trees, is always willing to answer any questions you might have, very professional !

The initial estimate was beyond my planned budget, but they worked with me to reduce the overall scope but still get the desired effect. I was very satisfied with the work and would recommend them in future.

Great. Initial call on Monday, work was done on Thursday. Two climbers and two groundsmen with equipment showed up on time. Took approximately 2 hours. Excellent cleanup, left the area in better condition than when they arrived. Even swept the debris from our roof.

Great!  Prompt and efficient.  They did a great job, without tearing up my yard with their equipment, and cleaned up all of the mess.  They left my yard so you would not even know they were there.  Great service, would not hesitate to hire again.

I recently purchased a house that needed some serious grounds cleanup. The lot was overgrown and had not been touched in about 10 years as far as tree pruning. Rick came out and gave me an estimate and a time frame that was reasonable. I was considering doing the work myself but decided against it due to the proximity to power lines. I was not there on the day of service, but found everything to be done and in order as agreed upon once inspected by me. I would use him again in an instant, good value and excellent work.

See above. Great job and great price.  got 4 quotes to do same job and 2 of them were were 1000 dollars more. The other one was similar priced.  Went with Rick as was able to get it done in time frame needed and was the best price.

They did just what I wanted and cleaned up.  When they needed to pull their truck into the neighbor's driveway, they asked them first. Very professional.

I called 3 tree trimming companies (all from Angie's list), Independent was the only one to call back timely (One called back over a week later after I had accepted Independent's quote).
They said it would be 2-3 weeks before they cold get the work done. They met that time frame, called to schedule the work, arrived when they said they would, worked fast, cleaned up, and left me the wood for our fire pit.

Contacted Rick Dinkard at Independence Tree Care on 5/1 requesting a quote. Rick came over on 5/4 and looked at the three trees and gave me a quote. The quote included a $50 off coupon. The first tree was a 50 foot pine tree next to a utility pole. The second tree was a 50 foot cherry tree that had started to die a few years ago and was rotting at the base of the trunk. And the third tree was a 25 foot evergreen that had started to hit our house on windy days. Rick's crew came over the morning of 5/9 and completed the job in about 4 hours. They moved a neighbors RV that was parked next to the pine tree to keep from any damage. The person that did most of the cutting did a very professional job. The crew cleaned up all of the branches and raked the yard. On 5/12, the stump of the huge cherry tree was removed in about 30 minutes with a very impressive machine. And finally, on 5/19, the debris from the stump was removed.

Overall, very smoothly done.  There was one glitch with stump removal performed by a subcontractor that Independence took care of without hesitation.  These people work hard and they know what they're doing.  These observations come from the son of a man in the same line of business for well over 30 years and who has personal experience as a "helper" (not always by choice).

I called Independence Tree care and spoke with Rick Drinkard the owner and explained to him that  I had two very large silver maple trees that were at least 35 tall that I needed to have taken down.  Rick came out that day and looked at the trees and explained to me that the one tree did not have to come down that he could trim it up because he felt it was still healthy.  I had another tree service tell me weeks before it was diseased., so I was impressed that Rick wanted to save the tree.
      I was very impressed with the tree crew when they came the following week and begin the tree removal process.  The crew worked for four hours taking down the silver maple that was next to my patio. They were very professional and did a great job getting the tree down , the tree crew were very polite and did an excellent job in cleaning up the area.  The large silver maple on my front lawn was trimmed , they did a great job trimming it so it no longer hung over my front porch, again great job cleaning up. 
      Rick sent the stump grinding company out the following week and I was also pleased with the way the stump was taken down and the tree roots removed by the machine.  I couldn't remove the tree wood chips myself so I had to pay extra to have Rick send out someone to pick them up for me.
       I was very impressed with Independence Tree service and would recommend them to anyone for tree removal service.  Rick was very professional and help me make decisions about the tree's and what needed to be done.  I told him I was so impressed with his crew that how polite and professional and hard working they all were.

Have used Independence Tree Care before for tree need in the past, so when I lost a few trees in a storm, they were the logical choice.
After some initial voicemail tag and some shuffling of priorities, a team came out and removed the trees and pruned.  They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves, including raking up the fallen apples from across the lawn.

Independence Tree Care did a ton of work for me and his prices were very fair. He brought in his crew and they cleaned up. They cut down the trees they were supposed to and trimmed trees. He was awesome. I was thinking of calling him out again. For the amount of work they did and the number of workers the price was very good. There were four or five workers out here at different times and they worked all day. My experience with them went very well.

This is the second time I have used this tree service and I've been very satisfied with both experiences.  Rick and his crew are very professional.  I'm sure I will be using them in the future as I have a lot of trees that require ongoing attention.

I called and left a message.  Rich and I spent a few days of phone-tag, but once the details were clarified the estimate was completed the next day.  I hired them and they completed the work again the next day.  The two employees were courteous and professional.  Cleanup was thorough.  An additional tree that was leaning, hazard for my children who play in the woods, was cut down without extra charge.  Price was reasonable. 
Only negative feedback was that "free woodchips" were listed on flier, but I was told the small limbs fed into the shredder wouldn't be good woodchips for use.  When I explained that we used them along a woods path, not for landscape, there was still an excuse made for not leaving any.  Not a deal-breaker but strange.

Excellent service. 
They came out and went straight to work removing several trees from my property and grind the stumps.  Even included some extra trimming at N/C. 
Had all the proper equipment and vehicles to properly and safely get the job done. 
Hires vet's.  Very important to me. 
Will be calling them again to clear several more "widow makers" from my property soon.
