He started very close to his original timeline that was laid out. We didn't have weeks go by without any progress, workers were here almost every day. He was able to accommodate some late changes and additions without an issue. AllPro Services of West MIThe problem became apparent on Christmas Day. Another plumber indicated that I had more than a plumbing problem and, most likely, needed to hire someone to rip out and replace the existing flooring. Fortunately, I had a second bathroom to use so, despite the inconvenience, the problem did not need emergency attention. Ker, at AllPro responded to my initial call immediately. He came out that day, indicated what needed to be done and provided me with an estimate. I accepted, and within a few days the project was completed (all in one working day!). AllPro did an excellent job and provided me with necessary information and suggestions. At first, I dreaded having a crisis during the holidays but, thanks to AllPro, my worries were few.- Patricia F.

Scheduled a quote.... cancelled 30 min prior. Rescheduled again.... cancelled 30 min prior. Same excuse both times. Decided to reschedule just to see what would happen.... and they were a no-show. Expected it. Would never give my hard earned money to a company that strings you along!

The guy called my home days after I requested service through company. I told him my name, by the way, I used my nickname, which isn't ethnically sounding, and told him exactly what I was looking to get a quote for. He came out that same day and my significant other greeted him and showed him and the gentleman with him what exactly we were looking to get done. He gave him the card and said oh i will get a quote to you. I never heard back from the guy and was going to find someone else. Then I get this email last night and remind you this guy new exactly what needed to be done prior to coming out and if he thought it was too much at time he could have said it than instead he sent this email days later: "After considering all of the factors involved in working on your house I have decided not to give an estimate for me doing the work. 2 factors: 1.I am 74 years old and no longer climb to 2 story heights. 2.The job is more than we can handle at this time. I apologize for any inconvenience. Thanks, Randall Meyer HMS." Entire email. no greeting no nothing. This leads me to believe there were other motives for not wanting to do the work. Anyone of color I recommend either asking for a minority contractor or making sure the contractor who is assigned to you doesn't have any issue with working with people of color. I can't say for sure that was the reason but all of this is fishy considering all the facts. Extremely not happy and wasted my time.

It’s a mixed response. First, we love the finished job. Unfortunately, we were given a written estimate that was not itemized and although he said he would give us all of the receipts for materials, as well as the discount he gets for them, none of that ever happened. Also every time something changed or we needed or wanted something different...it was priced off the top of his head. Ohhh you want that? Okay that will be $1,500. Wait...I picked out the tiles and for the sq ft he said we needed, it was no where near the price he said (and that’s without the discount he was supposed to pass on to us). I just don’t like not having an itemized bill, breaking out material and labor. He also said they would cover our bed and other stuff to keep it clean. They didn’t. They put paper on the hardwood floors, which I appreciated, but the dust and dirt was everywhere. I had to strip the bed and wash everything when they were gone. They also banged/scratched door trim and other things. Good thing I keep white paint around to cover stuff. All in all we paid $5,800 for a shower retile. I told him from the beginning that my ex-husband, my dad, my brothers, my son, etc. either are, or were, in construction so I’m familiar. I guess he didn’t believe me.

Extremely poor communication and expensive. The only times they were prompt on communication was to collect the deposit and to collect the balance once the job was done. Originally signed the contract on 12/09/2020 and heard nothing for a month. Without notice the builder showed up a month later only to identify that what was quoted is not possible. We then signed an addendum on 01/20/2021 for the work. There was no communication for over another month until I contacted them and asked for an update. On 03/04/2021 I was messaged that the work would start on Monday, 03/08/2021. When the work did not start, I asked for an update and was told the work would start by 10 AM the next day... Again it did not. Work finally started on 03/10/2021, took about 10 days to complete since the workers were here a bit sporadically. Ultimately, the work done was acceptable and the builder was a nice guy. I fully understand that the weather needed to be warm enough to pour cement without jeopardizing the integrity of the cement but for the premium I paid to use a Avalon I expected much better communication throughout the process and it should have been done and cleaned up within 3-5 days.

Rob is a consummate professional. He assisted us in discovering and dealing with damage from a leak in our basement wall. Rob made suggestions for the repair which was completed by our waterproofing company. He replaced the dry wall after cutting a one foot high section out of the perimeter of the room for the waterproofing work. Weeks later after the waterproofing was finished, he replaced the dry wall. We painted the walls and he came back to replace the baseboard trim. Rob always kept his appointments for work at our house. If he could not come at the appointed time, he called and set up another time. The work stretched over several months. We were delighted with the results. He did a wonderful job and we would not hesitate to call on him again.
