Work began on February 16, with a good crew working when weather permitted. Delays due to quite bad winter were unavoidable. They discovered the old wall lacked a proper footing so the estimate was adjusted to install a new footing. Jose was transparent about necessary adjustments. The installation took until April 4, 2026, due to weather delays and town inspections. I’m very pleased with the strong, well-drained wall. I enjoyed dealing with J&R Chavez Landscaping with two small issues, communication about delays could be improved and Jose never got back to me about some agreed post job landscaping.
