"This review should probably be three separate reviews, but I think it shows my trust in Vernon using him multiple times. He came out to give me a quote on a new gas water heater and relocating it about 8 feet over in the basement. The price was reasonable and he provided me the water heater information so I could see it's reviews beforehand. While installing my water heater, my tenant called and said the AC was not working. So, after completing the install and his other stops that day, Vernon went over later that day to take a look. The repair required a new part, so a few days later he repaired the AC and I had him replace a leaking pressure valve while he was there. About a month later, a house I renovated needed some repair work on a leaky drain before settlement (he was not the initial installer). Vernon went into that crawlspace and repaired the pipe and provided the appropriate documentation so we could get to settlement in time. I had Hamilton Plumbing and HVAC do work at my home, my rental, and then my house flip. I plan to have Vernon come back to run a gas line when I install a gas fireplace and again when I do my basement bathroom."

He checked operation of the boiler, and diagnosed the problem with the help of the boiler manufacturer tech support. He tried to get the old one working again, and seemed to succeed, but I called him back the next morning to report it started acting up again. He ordered the part and returned after it arrived in a few days to install it. The part appeared to resolve the issue and I was good to go. The boiler is over 25 years old and my previous HVAC contractor had said it needed to be replaced. Don looked at me like I was nuts when I told him that. He genuinely believed in repairing rather than replacing if at all possible, and I could not agree more."
