"Finally! When friends ask if I know of a reliable, honest, plumber at reasonable cost, I have found one to give as a referral in Water Field, LLC. Tes arrived on-time and assessed what was needed to correct my pipe leak problem in short order. While waiting for his repair work on the leaky pipe to cool, Tes offered to check all the other fixtures in my home to ensure everything was in order. When I mentioned one of my toilets was not properly anchored to the floor, an annoyance to me for quite some time, he fixed it at minimal cost. Water Field, LLC is now officially my go-to plumber. "I am very happy about the work but I paid 600.00 for a very small job. He cut a pipe and put a cover, then he fixes a sing pipe that was broken and snake two drains. He said everything was 495.00 and then he said it was 150.00 on top of that. I was very upset that he change the price agreed on at the end. I had more things to get a fix and he did not want to."

"Excellent service. The technician (I am blanking on his name) was very professional. He looked at the issue (clogged drain), gave me a couple of options, we chose one, he proceeded with unclogging the drain and voila, no more issue. Thank you!"

Small jobs welcome

"Fixed a broken cast iron toilet drain flange. Project was definitely harder than expected, but they got it done. I had to call them back because I thought they messed up on one aspect. However, turned out to be fine and I wasn't charged for asking them to come back out for nothing. Great company and great customer service."

"None of the companys do the kind of Storm channe system installation work I need. I found a potential resourse by searching for a Mason Contractor on the internet."

Drain Pipe Installation questions, answered by experts

Never pour used motor oil down the drain. Doing so can have serious environmental consequences, including contaminating groundwater, endangering animals, and killing vegetation. It can also clog your pipes, causing backups in your plumbing or the wastewater treatment plant. In most places, pouring motor oil down the drain is illegal, whether you do it in your home or a storm drain.

If you want to avoid using a snake to unclog a drain, or if you don’t have one, try vinegar and baking soda. Pour 1 cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by 1 cup of white vinegar. Wait for 15 minutes, and then run hot water (but not boiling water) down the drain to see if the clog is clear. Repeat multiple times as needed.

Drain pipes carry wastewater from sinks, toilets, showers, and other fixtures to the main sewer line. They’re typically located within the walls and floors and beneath a home’s foundation. Meanwhile, sewer pipes transport collected wastewater to a septic tank or a municipal sewer system.

Even if the shower drain doesn’t seem clogged or dirty, plan to clean it out about once per month—or more frequently if you or your family shed a lot of hair. It’s a good practice to remove any hair from the drain on a daily basis, as hair can accumulate fast and cause clogs in no time. You may also want to have a plumber thoroughly clean the drains in your home once every six months.

To clean gunk out of a sink drain, pour in a half cup of baking soda, then 1 cup of white vinegar. The two will react chemically; let them fizz for 15 minutes, then rinse with boiling water. Repeat these steps if necessary for particularly dirty sink drains, and consider a drain snake if there are clogs.
