"People don’t plan to have their water pipe burst. Seeing as it was -10 degrees today it’s no surprise ours did, despite every effort to make sure the water in the pipes were moving. I was at a doctors appt and walked in to water bursting out of the kitchen ceiling in buckets! My mother was looking where to turn off the main water with no success. When I got to it, water had been fishing for over 30 minutes! Oh, did I mention this occurred around noon today, which happens to be a Friday? Unfortunately, we’d already booked one with our insurance, who are coming out tomorrow. The guys came and they were WONDERFUL!!!! They went right to work, cutting open the drywall surrounding the bursted pipe. Took pictures for me so I could send it to my insurance company and fixed it in no time. They were perfect gentlemen. It didn’t take long to see how kind, down to earth, professional and mindful of my concerns. Ya know how uncomfortable it can be not knowing who is coming in your home. I felt so comfortable with them. Wound up joking around with them as though I’d known them for years. The two guys who came were Ivan Perez and E’Nedino Diaz. Not only did they fix the reason for which they came, they even fixed a few issues we had in our upstairs bathroom. They did so professionally and efficiently. We interviewed 3 companies, even big name companies and Wendell (the owner) was the only one that explained things and did a thorough assessment of our property to figure out how to fix our sloping and minor foundation issues and within our budget. His team arrived on site on time and worked a full day until the job was completed. Our basement was left cleaner than they found it. We added another sump pump due to the size of our basement and that drain well looks better than our original.
