"Deck & Shed Pros did an outstanding job on our screened-in porch! Jim kept us informed and was very responsive to any questions we had along the way. We were very pleased with the quality of the work, which was done with great care by Simon, who is an excellent carpenter and craftsman. Jim did a great job working to design an approach that worked best for us. He recommended using the Screen EZE fastening system which allows installation of screening over larger open spans. We just love how open our screened-in porch feels! Deck and Shed Pros was a pleasure to work with, and we are just thrilled with our new screened-in porch. We highly recommend them!"

"Even though it was a small job, just replacing a short stair from the kitchen to the patio, I received prompt attention and the job was scheduled quickly. The crew did a very nice job and the stairs look terrific."

"After doing much research I hired John Krause Construction for a very large project: Sunroom addition, deck, patio, front hardscape and landscape with design of my entire house and yard! John came out personally and was very honest and his pricing was fair. They did an amazing job taking my vision and making it a reality. The crews were efficient and responsive. I will use them in the future."

"The Indoor Solutions crew worked efficiently to treat our basement and remediate the situation. They were excellent in every way. The crew moved furniture, packed up certain items, cleaned up and later restored our basement with new paint and flooring. It’s now a much more inviting space."

"Echoing other satisfied customers of Oscar's company, we too are extremely satisfied with their reconstruction of our 30+ year old slate patio. The job site was not particularly easy to access, but the crew handled it all with aplomb. Oscar and Douglas were readily available to answer any questions we had, and volunteered many points of information as the work was in process. The individual that performed the final re-installation of the slate tiles did so by himself, and his work in particular was impeccable. Also, his cleanup of the job site once the work was completed was exceptionally well done."

Gazebos questions, answered by experts

On average, building or installing a gazebo costs around $5,700, with a typical range between $3,000 and $10,000. The final price depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. Material choice is a significant cost driver; for example, brick is often more affordable, while metal can be one of the more expensive options. Square-shaped gazebos can also be more expensive to build. Custom features, such as built-in seating or lighting, will increase the total price. You may be able to save money by purchasing a prefabricated gazebo kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

To make the gazebo accessible, you can build a wheelchair pathway leading up to it. The path should be paved with a smooth surface for wheelchairs to roll through. A low curb should be placed along each side to ensure the wheelchair stays on the path. At the end of the path, build a wheelchair ramp connecting the gazebo.

Fascia and soffits differ in their location and design, but fascia vents are the most popular alternative to soffits. These are a bit more hidden than soffits, but depending on the structure of your roof, they can cost more to install and maintain. They are also installed around the entire roof, whereas soffits can be placed only where you need them or, if the aesthetics bother you, somewhere out of sight.

The average cost to build or install a gazebo is around $5,700, with prices typically ranging from $3,000 to $10,000. The final cost depends on several factors, including the gazebo's size, shape, material, and design complexity. For example, square gazebos and those made from metal can be more expensive, while brick is a more affordable material. Adding custom features like built-in seating or lighting will also increase the price. You can potentially save money by purchasing a prefabricated kit or performing some of the labor yourself.

Common materials include wood, vinyl, and metal. Wood offers a classic look, while vinyl and metal are low-maintenance options.
