Howard does very good work and very dependable. Unfortunately, he was unable to finish the job because he was called to another site for inspection. The work was completed by a very nice gentleman but he used my trash can to mix the grout and used it for water to spread the grout. Unfortunately, I had to clean my trash can. He had no tools to hang the new curtain rod. He was informed by Howard what needed to be done the day before. I was given the option for someone to come and hang the rod but since I already had one up, I declined. All in all, I am happy with the work that was done. Kevin always tries to work with me on my projects and gives me the best price. They are professional, competent, knowledgeable, and caring. I highly recommend House Doctors.

Terrible business practices and shoddy workmanship. AVOID at all costs. I visited the property multiple times during which they claimed they were working only to find no one there. When I inspected the work, I found shoddy results (images attached). We purchased new doors for the job which were then ruined and then went unpainted. We needed to have someone come back to fix the work, further disrupting our lives. Light fixtures were incorrectly placed and the contractors seemed to have a poor grasp of basic practices as well as common sense. Many of the materials I purchased were ruined throughout the work. I was then charged significantly more than the original quote. After speaking with multiple friends who work in the field, I was told that for the size of the job, the hours being charged were exorbitant. Attempts at remediation were met with rudeness and I was then threatened by their team after asking for an updated invoice. They were nonresponsive for weeks during which we tried to get the matter sorted. Avoid these contractors.

The two men did a fine job of moving misc. stuff around my small studio apartment. The put a full sized file cabinet back against the wall from the middle of the room; which was a big help. I had some misc. wood pieces in the closet and they were glad to take it all home. Many thanks--GEC
