If I were to replace these decks as suggested by several companies, my guess is it would have cost $35,000. This company assessed my decks from a structural standpoint and determined that they could rehab the deck with long lasting materials and my deck would be something I would be proud of. He did need to be reminded to provide a specific contract upfront. I contracted them to do the carpentry only (the powerwash/sealing was more than double the cost I normally pay).
