"This is the second time that Dig M Pools did and installation for us. Again we were very happy with the job they did. We purchased our pool from them and it is a well made product. The owners wife was very helpful when we were deciding what pool to purchase. I would recommend Dig M Pools as first choice. Excellent job. Thanks Dig M."

"Backyard Ponds of Beltsville, MD., installed my koi pond 2 years ago, replacing one that was horribly installed by another local landscaping company. They were quick, cleaned up when done and gave me an exceptional deal. I called them back this year to clean the pond. They emptied the pond, contained the fish and scrubbed it squeaky clean. No more dangling algae or dirty water. When I came home from work, it was crystal clear, the waterfall was adjusted for settling and the fish appeared healthy and happy. I would clearly recommend them to anyone interested in putting in a fish pond!!"

"My air conditioner was not working so I contacted my home warranty service and they sent a local company representative to checkout the problem. It was a capacitor - the technician installed the part and it has been working ever since."

"Very professional, punctual and respectful. I had an idea of what I wanted to do but they offered great suggestions to improve the layout keeping in mind future expansion of the patio. With respect to the 'B' rating on the price, had this just been a straight patio, i would have given an 'A' rating. An island with grill and refrigerator was presented during our contract talks and I agreed to have it done. I was a little disappointed in what arrived compared to the price I paid for it. I'm certain I could have done the island and grill for much less but that's just a lesson learned. Overall, ASCM was a great company to work with and will work with them again as I expand the patio."

"Everything went as planned start to finish. Leisure pools techs are the best by far. They worked with me every step of the way to get it completed. Always on time and ready to work when they showed up. Clean up after job was completed was great you could not tell they were here. This was no small job by far pool is 16 by 40 an 12 feet deep. It now looks better that when it was installed in 1969!!! If you want the job done right the first time then hire Leisure Pools."

"Jason was very professional and timely.  His price was very competitive and timely compared to 3 others we received.
The work crew was extremely hard working and knowledgable of all things hardscape.
They arrived daily on time and cleaned up each day.
Attention to detail was excellent.
5 year warranty on all work preformed was given by Jason.  Can't imagine these wall's will move/ shift given the rock solid installation and materials used.

Sauna Installation questions, answered by experts

Both saunas and steam rooms offer some health benefits as well as a good return on investment. While there’s more research on saunas than steam rooms and fewer reported risks with steam rooms, the latter tend to be better for reducing stress. Which one is better depends on the benefits you’re looking for, your budget, and if you have space to build a sauna.

It will take several hours or more to build a sauna. A prefab kit will take anywhere from three to 20 hours to install, depending on complexity and your skill level. If you’re doing a custom build, it can take more than 50 hours—especially if you need to add ventilation, ductwork, and other renovations.

A home sauna may be considered a luxury item by some homebuyers, which can provide a good return on investment. However, whether it increases your home's value ultimately depends on the buyer, as some may not want to take on the extra costs and maintenance associated with heating and upkeep.

No, you should only choose high-quality wood to build your sauna. Not all types of woods can withstand the pressure from heat or moisture. Only use softwoods, such as cedar and aspen, that are known for absorbing heat and resisting water.

Most people will opt to put their home sauna outside near a pool or on a screened-in porch so the heat doesn’t move into the rest of the house. If your house has enough room, you may choose to put it in a bathroom so you can shower right after.
