  It went wonderfully. The workers were professional and nice. They cleaned my yard every day when they finished working. I had a crumbling retaining wall. But to get to the wall they had to take down an 100 foot vinyl fence. Besides that, my neighbors shed is 3 inches from my property line. They could not bring in any machinery. They dug everything by hand. I was amazed how well they worked together. It really was like an assembly line. They worked fast and good. It took them only 3 1/2 days to finish the project.   I was told my furnace flue had collapsed, the chimney needed redoing and the heat shield lining another contractor out of Glen Burnie did was still not complete after two tries. Plus when they put the new damper on they allowed for water leaks. Leonard did an amazing job. ACE Hardware recommended him to me. Three other contractors gave me estimates and NOT A SINGLE ONE HAD gotten it right plus they were estimating as much as 12000 or more for the repairs. Other chimney contractors based their estimates on worst case scenario and tried to make the job as big and expensive as they could. NOT Easter Sweeps. He based the estimate on what was ACTUALLY needed and had good solutions to the issues other contractors had created. I am so happy with the work he did and it was 1/6th of what the other contractors were trying to charge me. Honesty and good quality go a long way! Thank youshow more

  They were able to finish the project on time and keep the budget maintained. Any extra cost items we proposed were priced very fairly. Something that set them apart was the help with picking materials. We were allowed to visit their select vendors as well as others we found ourselves to pick out materials. All of this with MW personnel at the meetings! MW was there to answer questions and make recommendations, all while steering us in the direction of staying within the budget. No other contractor even came close to offering this level of service. Most contractors told us to they would give us a list of materials, and we had to just go and pick out materials on our own. This would have been overwhelming for us without the help of MW. Other contractors had limited preset materials we had to choose from. We also enjoyed MW’s web-based project management software. Being offsite by an hour and a half, we are able to view all of our project files electronically from anywhere with an internet connection. It has other features as well like a message board, so all project emails and messages are in one quick location to access. The finished product was A1. Our home is first class and anyone who visits us compliments the quality. The project manager Drew held the work to a high standard. Our punch list was very short because he had the guys repair any items along the way that didn’t meet his seal of approval. We heard negative stories about large scale construction projects, but feel fortunate to have selected MW Construction as our contractor for this project. We will definitely use them for any needs we have in the future and give them rave reviewsshow more

  Mr. Burkett was very thorough in his inspection of my roof. He took pictures of all the good and bad parts of the roof and shared those with me. While he was on the roof he took care of some of the major problems such as caulking staple pops and securing loose shingles. He also put a new boot around my roof vent to prevent leaking. At the completion of the inspection he shared with me all of his findings and gave me recommendations on how to proceed with other issues that he noticed such as caulking around windows and pointing the chimney. He did a great job and I would recommend him and American Home Contractors to anyone needing a new roof or just a roof tune-upshow more

  Marc was punctual, polite, and professional throughout. He cleaned the gutters and performed a thorough inspection of the exterior of the house and the gutters and downspouts in order to assess why we have been having water leaking into the basement. He found no problem with the gutters but was very helpful in pointing to the causes of water penetration and the steps we could take to fix the problem.
