My previous outdoor grill installers did not install vents for the the propane bottle. Even though this project was small, these guys came out and drilled into the masonry to install two vents (that I purchased from BBQGUYS.com). THEY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND MASTERS CHIMNEY ANS HEARTH!!

I was fortunate to have an excellent crew. Other chimney work in my chimney ladened neighborhood pales in comparison to Master Chimney and Hearth. Malcolm is a master brick layer. His lines are incredibly true. Youâ ll see no sloppiness in his work. Rene is a very skilled worker. He can do it all. Heâ s the work horse, the piping and liner guy. Young Tristyn has skills. When Malcom was Ill Tristyn and Rene had to lay my brick hearth. It needed expansion to be in code. They put there heads together and came up with pattern that make me very happy. They laid the brick to create a level, square and pleasing hearth to go with the pellet stove. Tristynâ s fine joint work was impressive. This was an excellent crew. I would have rated them a 5 star company but my furnace flue piping was not in code so we didnâ t contract to do the furnace flue.. My house is 81 years old so very little meets todayâ s code. Fortunately I was able to hire another company who did the piping required to bring it into code and then run and attached the liner. There price was very reasonable and I have a fully completed chimney. But I canâ t stress enough if you need your fireplace rebuilt itâ s going to be hard to beat Master Chimney and Hearth for there impeccable brickwork and there unique top slab for your chimney cap. It finishes the job with a clean professional look. None of my neighbors look near as good.

I would like to express my appreciation for the outstanding job that your technician, Mercado Domingo did on my gas fireplace. I have had an ongoing problem with soot buildup on the interior of the firebox and glass window. I have had 3 other companies service the fireplace with no success as the soot would start building up right away. Mercado diagnosed the problem, cleared a restriction in the chimney and cleaned the entire unit. He went above and beyond what the other technicians did. I now enjoy a beautiful clean fireplace after 10 years of soot.

Scheduling was easy and quick appointment date was made. Received both email and text messages on scheduled date of arrival confirming. Repaired battery compartment unit to gas fireplace log set and cleaned unit as well as glass doors to fireplace opening. Service technician was very polite and professional. I would recommend company to others.

The crew was knowledgeable and very professional. They cleaned and tested my pellet stove, and quickly identified the source of my problem. With a little more time and effort they resolved the issue (fly ash buildup in the vent pipe) that was the result of poor installation. The installation also allowed for smoke to leak from the vent pipe joints. They recommended a couple of solutions, and I"ll have them back soon to correct the bad installation. Thanks, guys! Mark was quick to call to discuss my repair service, explained what the charge would be and was able to schedule the repair service very quickly. I was contacted the day before the appointment to confirm and received a call about a half hour before they were actually arriving. The 2 gentlemen who came to do the repair work were on time; very professional; wore masks and were able to solve the issue with my gas fireplace. They also added a fan to help make my fireplace more efficient and it was a bit on the pricey side, but we're still glad we splurged on it. We wouldn't hesitate to call Masters Chimney & Hearth in the future for any repair work. Given the challenge that getting repair work scheduled during Covid presents, we appreciated being able to get this repair done within a week of calling to schedule.

Because of the heavy snow, the schedule for my gas fireplace repair had to be rescheduled twice. They kept me posted by text. When they arrived, they put down tarps to protect my floors from the salt and sand in the snow. They identified the fireplace problem soon after arrival and repaired the broken part without having to replace it. They were friendly and competent.

I had already purchased a command module and controller for my gas fireplace. I Had them come out and check the fireplace that would not light. They worked on it for about an hour and when they left they had it working, but we did not know it was only on the battery backup, not from the power outlet. The service call was 210.00 dollars and a tip. Called them back the next day and they spliced the transformer with a used 3v when the unit needed 6v. It took 5mins to diagnose the problem but I still have to purchase and install a new 6v transformer (65.00 online). Mark in the office charged me 95.00 more for the service call and got nasty and hung the phone up when questioned him about the fee. This is the first nasty experience I have written online. I would not recommend them at all! UPDATE 12/29/2021: I would like to add that the tech himself was polite, efficient, and diagnosed the problem accurately when they diagnosed the issue. This tech came this morning, plugged it in the outlet and gave some more info, and told me they would splice it back with materials they had on their truck... it was actually the guy in the office that really got under my skin!

"Reginald G, we have refunded your check for 215 (our 1st visit was 1 Hr. 37 Mins.) and returned your check for 95 and the 20 tip. This was the total amount paid by you. The techs asked you on the return trip if you wanted to keep the part we installed or to take it out. You wanted to keep the part. Both techs were at your home for 36 minutes. We charged 95. You complained to the techs. Then you called the office and were given the choice not to pay the charge. You continued to argue and were again given the choice not to pay. After you continued to argue, you again were told not to pay fee. You then wrote the check for 95 and wrote this unfair review. We do not argue with clients in cases like these. We simply say do not pay the fee. The reviews below testify to the fact that we are the highest rated chimney company in the area and take customer service very seriously."
