"The busy office staff was friendly and professional. My calls and emails were promptly returned.
(We did have a minor communication snafu, which we were able to resolve.)
Our estimate was scheduled, and Jack came to our home to provide it.
He answered all our questions and left a detailed proposal. Once we signed and returned the proposal, the 2-day work was scheduled for 2 weeks out. A snowstorm delayed the start date one more week.

Day 1 -
Jason and Justin arrived on time. The first job was insulating some of our basement ceiling copper pipes to help them resist freezing. (One pipe had frozen and burst in February's extended cold snap. It was repaired by a plumber, thus the drywall repair.)
The second job was replacing the drywall.
It was suggested that I remove the stairwell art so they could bring in the sheet of drywall without harming the art.
After the drywall was done, they removed the debris.

After hearing that I was concerned about drywall dust that could result from tomorrow's sanding, Jason gave me a suggestion to minimize the amount of dust: turn off the heat during sanding, and open the windows.

Day 2 -
The workers arrived as promised.
The office called to make sure I was pleased so far, and that the work was going as planned.
The sanding of the drywall, of course, generated dust, but they considerately used a vacuum during sanding, which, combined with the open windows, greatly reduced the amount of dust in the air.
(I was understandably elated that this was the first drywall repair where I experienced no respiratory distress!)
There's another step before the actual painting begins (perhaps "sealing" the drywall?)
The ceiling was painted with paint we provided.

Jason and Justin cleaned up. The job was completed on time, beautifully done.

I would definitely hire Home Pro Roofing and Remodeling again: from the owner, to the office, to the contractors, it's clear that they care
about their customers' satisfsction.

"Fantastic work!  Fast, easy and professional.  These guys know what they are doing.  We also used Accurate Insulation last year when we bought the house, and they provided whole-house insulation to add to the original 1965 builder insulation.  They were able to provide advice on what would be too much insulation and could cause poor indoor air quality.  Would use them again anytime.

"They do quality work, but are messy and very difficult to work with.  They re-insulated all my windows.  There is yellow spray foam everywhere.  The siding was done ok, there are some sloppy cuts. They did not properly install the gutter guards.  They simply slid them in under the shingles of my roof.  They could have blown away at any time.
They came to my house and just started to do the work without giving me notice that they were coming.  I showed up one evening from work and my siding was ripped off.  They could have damaged my car that was parked in the driveway.
They have shady pricing.  They will send you a flier that says you can get 30% off with the flier.  My experience was that tthe 30% discount will only get you within a 10% range of the same pricing level of the competition. I also received multiple quote updates, negotiation, from these guys.  In one of them they randomly dropped the labor cost by 50%.  Their pricing scheme is really shady.
After the work was performed, I hired a different company to work on my house.  They accidentally did some damage to work Four seasons performed.  Four seasons does not work well with competitors.  They act very unprofessionally if you use a different contractor for work on your house.  If you dare use another company to do work on your house, and that other company accidentally does damage, these guys act like catty 13 year old drama queens.  They will give you another excessively high estimate to redo the work and tell you that your warranty is voided unless you hire them to re-do the work.  They will not give part numbers, they will not give paint codes, etc. to you or their competitor to fix what the competitor accidentally broke.  They will be unresponsive to emails.  They wont call you back.  They will not send you emails, even if they agree to do it over the phone.
The sales team is trained to try and upsell you at the cost of customer service.  It took me a month and half a dozen phone calls to get a list of all the materials they installed on my house.
In sum, really difficult to work with.  Expensive. Shady business practices.  I would not recommend them.

"Overall, I am pleased with the work that Magnolia did, both on the ductwork repair and insulation, and installation of the new HVAC systems.  The crew they sent out were professional and worked hard.  They were very responsive to our request that they re-do some of the duct repair and insulation.  There was some miscommunication regarding the exact specifications of the  systems that they were to install, but everything worked out in the end. We have contracted with them to take care of the systems they have installed and expect that there will be no problems with the systems that have been installed.  They were not the cheapest, but they were available when we needed to do both the ductwork repair/insulation and HVAC installation.  It was important that the ductwork repair/insulation be completed before the installation of the new HVAC systems.  They were not the cheapest, but they were reliable and professional.  I would use them again. "

"Their plumber came out. He opened up the wall. He fixed the pipe and insulated the pipe. I have been with them for 15 years and they have fixed everything in my house and it never costs me more than $125.00. They don't try to dodge their responsibility. I have recommended them to multiple people."

Insulation questions, answered by experts

Insulating ductwork improves your HVAC system's energy efficiency by protecting the air from external conditions and preventing energy loss as it travels through the ducts. This means your system doesn't have to work as hard to heat or cool your home, leading to lower energy bills and a reduced carbon footprint. Additionally, insulated ducts help maintain a more consistent and stable indoor temperature, enhancing comfort. Proper insulation also improves indoor air quality by reducing the entry of allergens and pollutants and helps prevent problems like condensation and mold formation within the ductwork.

Closed-cell spray foam insulation itself serves as a vapor barrier (or vapor retarder). However, you may need to install a vapor barrier if you have open-cell spray foam insulation. When in doubt, work with a professional insulation contractor, as they can provide more detail about the specific needs of your home in your climate.

At a minimum, blown-in insulation lasts 20 to 30 years. Cellulose and sheep’s wool come from natural materials, so they likely max out at around 30 years. Fiberglass and rockwool feature artificial materials that boast lengthy lifespans, up to 50 years, or even longer in some cases. As always, this timeline assumes you don’t run into any issues, such as flooding or mold, that shorten the lifespan.

Fiberglass is considered dangerous only if your skin comes into contact with it or if you breathe in any fiberglass particles. This is because fiberglass is literally made of tiny fibers of glass that can cut your skin and your organs. While there aren’t many long-term effects, it’s still important to take all the proper safety precautions when working with fiberglass.

The heat loss through a poorly insulated attic when you’re running your furnace or heat pump during cold weather can be as high as 25%. This means you could see significantly higher energy costs to make up for this heat loss. The cost of adding insulation to the attic may eventually pay for itself through lower energy bills. If you decide to add a radiant barrier too, the radiant barrier cost may also pay for itself over time.
