"We had them install all the roofing and other hardware for a full Tesla solar roof. Once that project was going, we also had them do 5 outer window/door projects for us. All went well and we're happy we had them do everything!"

"We were disappointed.   We decided to contract with Kargmans because of their high rating on Angie's list and our pre-work meetings with Jim.   Jim had promised to be there the first day of the project which gave us confidence.   We never saw him again.  We called Jim several times for assistance throughout the project but he never came back.    The staff was nice enough although most of them did not speak much English.  We experienced a language barrier and were very reliant on Erin in the office.  
There was lots of confusion on which floor we wanted, transitioning the wood around the fireplace, how to cut glass tile and when appropriate staff should show up.   For example, the painter came before the dry wall was hung in the basement.  We also had to push hard to use the glass tile that we purchased.  The final conclusion was that we purchased a glass tile cutting blade for their use and they handpainted the back of the tiles.  We expected a well managed project that was not what we got.    
The work that they did was good and everyone was nice but it was very frustrating and painful.   Mid-project, we decided to hire a different company to do buy and install the floor in the basement that we had contracted to do with Kargmans.  It is my perception that both Kargmans and us were both extremely happy to part ways.

The guy who came out for the estimate was really great and was easy to work with but the people that actually came out and did the work didn't speak English and were difficult to communicate with. They damaged the roof. The removed a vent pipe leaving a hole in the roof which leaked after they left. Then they didn't take responsibility for it. They came out and fixed it and then wanted to charge me additional services after I just paid $12000 for the roof. It took them 2 weeks to refund me $3000 overcharge on a credit card. They were not great to deal with. I would not use them again. I suggest having a single point of contact and take responsibility for a project."
