"I was plagued with recurring ice dams in a few areas of my roof. After investigation, it was discovered that the insulation in a few visible areas was sub-par. Roland came in and quickly spotted the problem areas. He assured me that the could fix these problems immediately. He used a combination of rearranging existing batts, blown-in fiberglass and spray foam to seal the attic space, over the course of two visits. He's extremely personable and always called me back or answered the phone right away."

"Tony arrived on time, was very efficient, did a great job of ensuring the door was sealed from the outside air and elements, did caulking, foam insulation, used primed wood, did fine finish work, spoke with my husband along the way to ensure the right decisions, and even rewired the new door for the alarm system. Since the weather was not helping at the beginning they started with my basement job (a special thanks to Marcus). The basement finishing went very well with timely addressing of various problems we want to cover. I am particularly happy with the type of insulation they used. Very neat and clean. My basement was very humid and during the rainy season the walls inside could get wet. I am sure this over the long run saves a lot of money for me. Re porch and balcony, they have done and impeccable carpentry job. What I loved was that whenever the Boston's weather permitted they were on the property working. So no wasting time. While they did this we uncovered a big problem in footing of my sunroom. They immediately switched to that and with minimal time wasted I had new footings under my sunroom. The same type of job is done in my balcony. The decking and railing are replaced. Painted as new. Again in a very efficient way. I think it's worth mentioning that this was a per hour job but never have I felt that Alessandro's team are working slower than they should. This is a big plus. On top of that, they were flexible with the pricing and offered free labor for basement flooring and sunroom door adjustments (to be done this week). When I wanted to discuss the financials of this job Alessandro and Giovanni came to my house for an in person discussion. All in all, I would use their service next time. They might not look the cheapest at the beginning but considering what other providers do (with low estimates and keep adding to it), their price was very reasonable."

"Pro Home Services was extremely professional right from the start. Eric came out to give an estimate and was extremely knowledgeable about the work that we wanted done. He explained everything thoroughly, which was reassuring. He also provided homes that they had worked on and references for us so that we could feel good about making the right decision. Eric was easy to contact as were the other workers. Once the contract and deposit were signed, we did notice the urgency of responding to our calls and emails was not there any more. However, we were still pleased with their work. We were told the project would start on a Monday but it was the week of the hurricane. We weren't contacted at all that week, even though we understood that they would be delayed. After waiting to hear from them, we called and they told us a new date that they would start, which they followed through with. From the beginning, we kept saying that we wanted the house to look exactly like it had originally but newer. After we came home on the first day of the siding being put up, the width was larger than it had looked originally. This was very frustrating since we kept saying we wanted it to be the same as it had been. Eric explained that the width of the original siding was different in different places so he rounded up to the 5 inch boards. I wish he has clearly stated this to me since I had just assumed that what he wrote in the contract would match what the original siding had looked like. We grew to love the look (especially since we had no money to fix it :) Overall, the worker(s) arrived early each day and cleaned up each evening. They were very helpful when we had questions and the final product looks amazing! They had promised to paint the PVC trim where it didn't match the hardie trim color, which they couldn't do since the project had gotten pushed back and it was too cold. This was unfortunate since they had said they would do the downspouts too but there wasn't anything we could do about the weather. When we had issues come up about the project, they listened and fixed it. They did work above and beyond what other contractors had offered to do. All of our windows got new flashing, we got our porch roof replaced, and they cleaned up some insulation that was sticking out of our attic windows. They even left the dumpster for us to use when they were done. We definitely plan to use them in the future if we need to! You won't go wrong if you choose Pro Home!"

"The technician who came was a pleasant, competent professional who examined the unfinished attic to evaluateit w/r/t insulation only or insulation as part of a full finishing of the space. He took measurements and scratched out some information on his pad.. I told him that I intended to review my options before any decision. I offered payment at that time and he told me there was no charge for this service. It struck me as odd that he told me that what I had agreed to pay $19.00 for was actually free but I asumed billing would accompany an actual report/proposal. A month on I've never seen anything like a report although I have been charged via credit card for the inspection service. Perhaps the report-recommendation is still on its way? PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS REVIEW FORM REQUIRES A YES/NO HIRE AGAIN RESPONSE. I WOULD HAVE PREFERRED TO ANSWER UNDECIDED."

"Roberto was the technician and he was very professional, polite, and personable. He inspected the rest of our system and told us things that needed to be changed or repaired. He showed me pictures of everything. Everything he told me about was accurate. He quoted me a price for R38 insulation , Some of our ducts were plastic and he recommended them to be changed. I agreed completely and didn't know they were plastic. I would have had them done the work but I had no price comparisons to make and besides I didn't have the money right then. So he just finished the vent cleaning and left his card. He did a great job on the vent cleaning and was happy with the work."
