"I was plagued with recurring ice dams in a few areas of my roof. After investigation, it was discovered that the insulation in a few visible areas was sub-par. Roland came in and quickly spotted the problem areas. He assured me that the could fix these problems immediately. He used a combination of rearranging existing batts, blown-in fiberglass and spray foam to seal the attic space, over the course of two visits. He's extremely personable and always called me back or answered the phone right away."

"This is the second time I have used MA Design and Construction for a project in my house. Both times were great. For the most recent job, they framed up a partially finished basement, added carpet, leveled the ceiling, added a door and electrical outlets and insulated and painted the walls. Alessandro came and looked at the project and came back with his estimate in a few days. Since the weather was not helping at the beginning they started with my basement job (a special thanks to Marcus). The basement finishing went very well with timely addressing of various problems we want to cover. I am particularly happy with the type of insulation they used. Very neat and clean. My basement was very humid and during the rainy season the walls inside could get wet. I am sure this over the long run saves a lot of money for me. Re porch and balcony, they have done and impeccable carpentry job. What I loved was that whenever the Boston's weather permitted they were on the property working. So no wasting time. While they did this we uncovered a big problem in footing of my sunroom. They immediately switched to that and with minimal time wasted I had new footings under my sunroom. The same type of job is done in my balcony. The decking and railing are replaced. Painted as new. Again in a very efficient way. I think it's worth mentioning that this was a per hour job but never have I felt that Alessandro's team are working slower than they should. This is a big plus. On top of that, they were flexible with the pricing and offered free labor for basement flooring and sunroom door adjustments (to be done this week). When I wanted to discuss the financials of this job Alessandro and Giovanni came to my house for an in person discussion. All in all, I would use their service next time. They might not look the cheapest at the beginning but considering what other providers do (with low estimates and keep adding to it), their price was very reasonable."

"Working with Pro Home Services was one of the best experiences we have ever had with a contractor.
When we decided to replace our siding with the Hardie board, we interviewed and got estimates from all four preferred James Hardie remodelers in the greater Boston area.  Pro Home Services was the last contractor we interviewed.   We hired Pro Home after meeting with Brad, the business manager and Eric, the owner. 
Pro Home?s customer service went above and beyond comparing with the other three companies.  For the estimates,
two companies gave us hand-written quotes right at our house during the first visit and these quotes were the highest. 
The other company emailed us the estimates over 10 days later than the promised date. 
Brad made the effort to drop by our house; hand delivered the professionally written estimate, explained to us all details and patiently answered all of our questions.  We were very impressed with his knowledge and down-to-earth approach to our questions and needs.  In addition to siding replacement, we also wanted to replace the roof, gutter, kitchen window and sliding patio door.  I was very glad that I listened to Brad while I was trying to make decisions about which products to choose.   The window and door that he suggested turned out to be much better value and fit in the house perfectly then the more expensive products that I had in mind originally.   
 I am very particular about the color of the house and I had a hard time picking the right color for the Hardie Plank.  Eric has been very patient, very understanding and very helpful with my moments of indecision.  When I tried to work out the color choice with the other contractors, one contractor told me to go to Home Depot and buy sample paint myself, and another contractor just totally ignored my concerns.  In order to help us choosing the best color, Eric sample painted areas in the back of the house with the top colors of my choice.   I really appreciated Pro Home doing this, since the painted color on the house looks quite different from the color on the computer screen or the catalog.  Pro Home really helped me choosing the right color!
The entire Pro Home crew was very polite, efficient, easy to work with and respectful of our home.  It was a pleasure to have them around.  They paid great attention to details and the workmanship was superb.  In spite of bitterly cold weather in New England winter, they have been working hard and remained pleasant from start to finish.  
Also, very importantly, the communication was great throughout the entire project.  Once I had a concern with the
ongoing roof install and called Eric.  He showed up at my house within an hour and resolved the issue quickly.  The issue turned out mostly due to my lack of knowledge about roofing.  When we weren?t home, Eric would email or text us with photo snap shots of their progress.  The crew would always notify us if they had a question or encounter a potential issue. 
It was very reassuring that Pro Home made a strong commitment to quality and they took their work very seriously.  The crew cleaned up very neatly every day and the neighbors never had any issues.
They finished our punch list items efficiently.  The finished project is amazing!  Our house has been magically transformed.  The quality of work speaks for itself.  We continue to get compliments from neighbors and total strangers.  We greatly appreciate Eric, Brad, Sargio (the foreman), Eric?s father and all the rest of the Pro Home team for their professionalism,
responsiveness, and willingness to go the extra mile for their customers.  We would highly recommend Pro Home for any

"I first contacted Three Mason's after reading reviews on Angie's List. We recently bought a short sale home that is in need of some serious TLC. We needed all four exterior doors replaced, all because of rot and to upgrade to composite doors and jams. I e-mailed them about getting a quote and Lisa at the office was responsive in setting me up with a time John could come out and see the property. His original quote was for replacing and sourcing the doors in kind. We ended up buying the doors ourselves but having John come to first replace the back porch door which was the worst of all four. He quoted me $400 to replace the back door, kickboard and trim. Since we had the door it was mostly labor and some small materials. We knew there was likely more rot than accounted for in just replacing the door but he came out for the door replacement anyway. When he started the work he found extensive rot because an old contractor hadn't used pressure treated wood on an addition where the door was. He assessed the problem, checked all the surrounding structure, and quickly came up with a solution. He gave me good advice and offered ways to keep the rot from spreading. He ended up replacing the sill under the door and reinforcing our subfloor to the house. He had to go and buy more materials (namely the 2x10 that replaced the sill) but managed to still complete all the replacement and door install in one day. He only charged me an extra $325 for the extra time and materials. His work was excellent and he was very knowledgeable. I will have him back to replace the other doors in my home as well as do some sheetrock work in upstairs bedrooms. I highly recommend working with John and his company.
