We cannot say enough good things about Dolphin Insulation. They replaced the existing insulation in our entire house and addressed some mold related issues we came across along the way. We are delighted with the results. Our house is much tighter and drafts we used to feel are gone. The whole process took about 2 weeks, including removing the old insulation, prepping and blowing in the new insulation. We are talking about the roof over a bedroom over a double garage, the main house and the cathedral ceiling for a family room. Go to their website and see some of the projects they have tackled. What you see is what you get. From our very first contact right through the installation process everyone we came into contact with was professional, informative and very helpful. Dolphin was upfront on their timing for the project, in what was their busiest time of the year, and called us ahead of time to let us know they were running a day or two late. All the crew who came to our house throughout the process were polite, friendly, hardworking and took the time to answer any questions we had. They were flexible and worked around other contractors who were in our house at the same time. Dolphin adapted to issues that cropped which resulted in more work that they took on. Every day they cleaned up after themselves as best they could. Amanda, the owner, even stopped by towards the end to bring over some parts they need to protect lights in our family room. It is also clear everyone believes in the technology they use, and that what they do is more than just a job for the crew. As far as we are concerned this is the best and greenest insulation solution out there. It takes time to install but it is well worth it. No toxic fumes and you don't have to move out of your house. This is not the cheapest solution you can come across but it is worth every penny.

I had an exceptional experience with Dolphin. The team of Chris, Matt, and Andrew were awesome. They were professional, prompt, and did a fantastic job. They worked on my home for four days, insulating and air sealing the basement, attic, and walls. Even in my old (1880) home with plaster walls we had almost zero issues blowing in dense pack cellulose. They were super careful when working and clearly had lots of experience dealing with older homes like mine. They clearly took a lot of pride in the work they did. Our house is now noticeably warmer. We had a couple of rooms that were always much chillier than the others but now they’re toasty and warm and the drafts are now a thing of the past. Our house is also noticeably quieter as well. The cellulose in the walls does an excellent job absorbing sound. That was an unexpected bonus. They left our house clean at the end of each workday and all three never hesitated to stop and answer any questions I had during the process or to explain what they were doing. The office staff was also super helpful. I wish every job went this well. Thanks Dolphin!

Dolphin Insulation was amazing. They fit me in super fast. Lifted some boards up that I could not get too. Put 18 inches of insulation in and never left a mess. Definitely recommend them for any job. Thank you so much. My house is nice and warm

This was an enormous job and Chris' crew of himself, Matty, and Dustin did an amazing job. Our house was built in three sections in 1798, 1895, and 1956 and featured every sort of strange construction and connections imaginable. The original estimate was a five-day job and Dolphin allowed one extra day. The project took NINE full days to complete, in part because they were so meticulous about the work. Chris recommended and make a few changes to the MassSave contract where needed to be more appropriate, practical, or efficient. They were very cooperative and worked safely under COVID-19 conditions. I was replacing some drywall during the job so I removed a panel after the dense pack cellulose had been blown in. The photo shows how complete the insulation was - it was packed so well that nothing fell out after I removed the panel! It was an $18,000+ job and MassSave paid 100% so I can't complain about the cost, but they're the only contractor I'd consider for a job I'm paying for myself.

Troy, Nate and Tom did a great job with the MassSave insulation installation. They arrived on-time each of the three days, addressed and resolved my every concern and left the house (thanks Nate!) and property so that you couldn’t even tell they were here each day. I noticed an immediate improvement with sound deadening and on the 95+ degree days that followed, the house remained significantly cooler. Troy and team did a great job!

I can honestly say this was the best "contractor" experience of my 7 years of home ownership. Dave, Matt and Tom have been incredible. Extremely professional, flexible and a pleasure to work with. They represent Dolphin exceptionally well. I would recommend Dolphin and Dave's crew to any of my closest family and friends. Hopefully I dont need to, but I would hire Dolphin again in a heartbeat and ask for Dave's crew.

Dolphin Insulation was amazing. We had Mass Save do an energy assessment then we chose Dolphin as the contractor. The Dolphin crew was professional, friendly, prompt, and cleaned up each day. Our project ended up being larger than we had planned, but that was due to Dolphin recommending removal of our old insulation that had mold and mice urine/feces all over it. They gave us the benefits of removal and it was a no brainer. I wish the Mass Save consultant would have suggested removal versus just adding new insulation on top of old so we could have budgeted better. Mass Save does not help towards removal of old insulation, which is a shame. We chose to take on the added cost and couldn't be happier with our decision. The office staff and the field crew were amazing from start to finish. I will use Dolphin again if needed and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs insulation work done.

Dolphin's salesman was excellent, answered all questions and explained suggested insulation for various parts of house and possible priorities. We decided to have attic done first, seemed to be best return on investment, and installers were always on time, worked as cleanly as one can with that kind of job, finished job in good time.

Mass save worked well for us. I do understand we saved a ton of money. The work was great and I am appreciative of the difference it has made in our home. They were punctual and even stayed passed the 4:00p quoted time frame to complete the job. However, we were told that we would need additional work and three times was told by the foreman of the job it would be about $25-$30 extra. Of course we agreed! Why wouldn't we when every thing was going great! We don't know how this works and assumed they did. Today I received a bill in the mail for an additional $104.00. That's a $74 difference from what was stated. I am not complaining about the work. I will pay the bill because the work was done. But I am not happy with the way this additional charge was handled. We should have been given the correct quote to make our own decision. When I called the office to inquire about the additional charge I was not happy with the response, attitude/non-resolution. Again, I was happy with the job, scheduling, time frame etc. and would refer the company but with a warning to watch out for additional in-correct quotes and charges. I really was 100% satisfied until this morning. Good business practices makes a world of difference.

The job went well, they were punctual, very courteous and professional. The workers Dave and Tom were very friendly and very respectful of the property. Any questions I had were addressed and answered. They were very neat and cleaned up all areas.

Dolphin had been highly recommended by a colleague who had done extensive renovations. They did not disappoint for our much smaller job. The price was surprisingly reasonable, and the crew was professional and nice to work with. When they were stuck in traffic one morning, they called to say they would be a little late. The job was done on time, and they did not leave a trace. Also, there was a spot we had not identified that penetrated the envelope. They seal and insulated it without additional cost. Working with Dolphin was an excellent experience.

It went well. They came on time and worked hard. It took longer than expected as the men needed more supplies but in the end they did a geat job. It looks very nice.

I had my attic air sealed, added additional blown in insulation and had my bathroom exhaust fan vented properly through the roof. Dave and crew from Dolphin were on time and did a quick quality job. They were also very meticulous about clean up which was great too. Very good company to work with if you require any insulation work.

From first call to project completion, Dolphin Insulation was a pleasure to work with. We are building a fairly complex custom home that presented some challenges in insulating and air-sealing. The crew at Dolphin dedicated to helping us problem solve and arrive at the best finished product. As a general contractor, I rely on my trade partners to execute our projects correctly, on time and on budget. Dolphin's flexibility and expertise was a great help on all fronts. I plan to work with them again on future projects.

Cannot recommend Dolphin enough. I had contacted 5 insulation contractors to come out and look at my 100+ yr old home with no insulation. The walls are original plaster and lathe and hollow. Only Dolphin came out to visit and gave a comprehensive review and quote. We first had only the basement rim joist insulated. 2 yrs later we decided to take on the full job of insulating all of the walls. Dolphin came out again and revised the quote and looked over the job. The crew arrived in October and insulated the walls over 3 days. The effects were enormaous once winter hit. Before insulating we had a hard time keeping the house above 60 as on signle digit days we would use space heaters to supplemnet the heat and could barely break 58 degrees in the first floow. This year we had 2 weeks of single digit cold and the heat stayed above 70 the entire time! The crew is professional, outgoing and helpful. Everyone I dealt with was professional and honest. They

I always dread the process of getting work done on the house; non-returned calls, not showing up when promised and then not calling to let you know, leaving your job in the middle to start another one, etc. etc. Well, Dolphin was the opposite, a very good experience. Getting three quotes, Dolphin's Chris was the most professional, seemed to know what he was talking about the most, and gave us a comfortable feeling. Add in that their pricing was equal to or better than the others, depending on which part of the house, and it was a done deal. We had the attic completely re-insulated, throwing out all the old fiberglass, air sealing everything and new 18" of cellulose, as the first stage. Dolphin showed up when promised, took less time than I expected, and did what seems to me to be an excellent job, worked cleanly, and cleaned up thoroughly every night and end of job. I will use them for the next insulation project.

We were not only impressed with the job they performed insulating our home, but doing it in such a professional and considerate way! By the time Dolphin arrived on the day after Labor Day, we were shell shocked from contractors and having strangers running around our house turned upside down to accommodate the work that needed to be done. We were completely impressed with David, the site foreman. He was affable and easy to talk to. He kept us up to date on all activity and really eased our concerns about every aspect of the work. His crew was just outstanding and he managed them with respect and precision. I have witnessed work crews before, but theirs was a cut above! Not only were they respectful of us and our home, but they exhibited respect for each other rarely seen in blue collar circles. They were in constant motion performing their specific tasks like a well oiled machine! We just couldn’t have been more impressed and pleased. An unexpected bonus was that there is less outside noise penetrating into the house. We have an active street and our neighbors are busy from morning to nightfall and beyond. I used to be able to hear conversations on the street, but after their crew was done, our house is much quieter. And the icing on the cake was when the Mass Save inspector came out to inspect their work. I followed him around and he was also impressed with the work performed and stated that our contractor "had done an excellent job!” He asked who did the work and I told him, “Dolphin". He said that “they always do excellent work!” Boy, was I glad to hear that! Dolphin Insulation exceeded our expectations and left us with a warm feeling and a warmer (and cooler) home!

My house has become so comfortable and I have Dolphin Insulation to thank for this. From start to finish they have done everything right. On top of that the crews that have worked at my house have been polite, respectful, they thoroughly clean up their mess, they're punctual and they would always check in before they leave to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. Definitely a top notch, go to company. In April they completed my 3 phases of work. It started in August 2016 I purchased my home on a very busy, very noisy main road. Dolphin's crew came in and insulated the front of my house to cut down on the noise I would hear from the road. I was impressed with how much that helped, and everyone who comes to visit comments on how quiet my house is compared to what they expected. In December they came back and insulated my attic. With the attic insulation my heating bill dropped by almost 50%. I was the only house on the street who would have snow on the roof almost 2 weeks after a storm because there was no heat loss going out my attic to melt the snow. In April they came back for the final phase of insulating my walls. Now my walls and attic are complete. With the heat that came roaring in this week I kept my windows closed (a good thing considering all the pollen blowing around right now) still haven't put my air conditioners in and the indoor temperature of my house peaked at 71 degrees while the temperature outside was in the 90's! Again, I can't say enough positive things about this company. I highly recommend Dolphin Insulation to make your home environment comfortable in all seasons.

We are restoring an 1887 Gothic Victorian structure and were very uncertain about the best way to install insulation. We called Dolphin and they sent David, an engineer to size up the job. He spent two hours going over everything and educating us on insulation (all types). This was extremely helpful. He proposed a plan for us that provided a higher R value than we thought was possible. He returned to the office and worked on a quote for us - we are restoring the building for use as a non-profit community center - so they very generously donated a portion of the cost.
The crew arrived two weeks later and were very friendly, cheerful guys. The worked hard and were very thorough. Every day they cleaned the space and when the job was compete, it looked cleaner than when they started. To demonstrate Dolphin's commitment to excellence, two of the owners stopped by to view the work and our project.
A few days later we unblocked a section of wainscoting that we missed because it was inaccessible earlier, so we called. They came over the next day to take care of it and were just as cheerful and friendly as before.
We couldn't be happier with their work and the results! We couldn't have made a better decision.

The work went better than I expected but had an issue at the end. We would highly recommend getting a port-o--potty. Our job took a week. We thought it would be a week of interruptions however the supervisor saw a way of entering our house from the attic so there was minimum disruption, such a blessing. We had the weather in our favor as well. After the work was done we went upstairs to check out the work. I could tell right away a big difference in warmth. I even noticed that the rest of the house seemed warmer. We had a test done before and after the job to see that the house had less draft leak. The issue in the end was that somehow along the way in getting the cellulose to the attic, there was a leak where we had loose cellulose on our roof and yard. When I called about this, David came out right away and later sent a crew who did an excellent job in the clean-up. Would highly recommend and will be using this company again to cover insulation in our basement.
