Their sub-contractors were also great and worked at the same high standards as the Coen Brothers. Although we faced some communication issues at the outset, we eventually worked through them, and it significantly improved throughout the project. They paid attention to detail; when my project manager saw me stripping the trim for reuse, they recommended buying new trim and a lumber yard to get it. And it makes a big difference having new trim with clean, sharp lines. Their tile work took longer than expected, but the miter cuts the trim cuts, and the finish is excellent. Let me start on how professional they were in every step of the way walking me through what needed to be done. I first hired them to help me sell an old victorian home built in 1900. I had a water pipe break and flood my dining room. James cam to my home and removed all the water damage to the ceiling and walls and was very skilled to repair everything back to the way it was originally. He also helped me clear up a few points on a home inspection and the one I was most impressed with was a front door railing that he built from scratch and matched the time period with great precision. I also hired James to look at a deck on my new home in Westminster. He showed me all the damaged areas and was able to explain to me the process of repair. "I cannot recommend Dan and his team enough!! My wife and I bought our first home together, which had beautiful pine floors ( 40 years old) on the first floor - except for in one bedroom which was carpeted. The second floor consisted of three carpeted bedrooms. The staircases was a red oak that was stained an ugly amber color. We wanted to tear out the carpets and replace them with hardwood floors however our fear was to shell out a lot of money and have the house look like a jigsaw puzzle made up of different wood. On top of this, we had to match some pretty tight timelines and get this job done. Dan came in on short notice and was able to advise us - he assured us we could install pine floors in the bedroom downstairs which would match the first floor look, and that we could add red oak upstairs as well as sand down the stairs and refinish them to match the red oak on the second floor. Dan and his team came in guns blazing and did a fantastic job. They were able to complete everything ahead of schedule while maintaining high standards for their work. They are extremely professional, reliable, work hard and fast, and can deliver. Do yourself a favor, if you have a project in mind, make your life easier and get it done right with Dan and his team.
