They were great! On time, friendly and courteous. Work was done well according to the appliance repair guy who replaced the oven igniter, which he could now get to with the new hookup in place.

They always very prompt and thorough.

I had a bad experience with this company for not honoring the warranty. They hire subcontractors for less expensive jobs such as drain cleaning. If a subcontractor fails to do a job properly they will charge you a full fee for the second service. In my case they charged me for cleaning 3 drains on one visit, but in the evening we realized that one of them was not running well. When the subcontractor came back and properly unclogged the drain, Puopolo&Son Plumbing Inc. charged me a full fee under pretext 'continuing problems'. I had positive experience in the past, but they recently changed their business model and started using subcontractors. The quality of service went literary down the drain.

Fast response, very knowledgeable and got the job done right the first time. Really could not ask for more, They're the new plumbers for the house.

We were impressed by the immediate response and proper recommendations to replace a leaky sink faucet. The technician showed excellent workmanship in a tight space. However, he either forgot or was not informed that the drain blockage also needed to be fixed. Although he promotly arranged for another service to take care of the blocked drain, am not sure if the repair cost could have been lower if the work was done in proper sequence.

Puopolo answered my phone call on a Sunday, explained that unfortunately he is too busy to be able to come that same day, but that he'd call me back the next day on Monday. To our pleasant surprise, he came by on Monday when he had a moment, and went right to work inspecting our boiler and identifying the issue. He quickly gave us an estimate and we agreed on the price and scope of work. The work was completed very quickly and to our satisfaction. We are very happy with the service provided!

We found water spreading over the floor in the basement and suspected the hot water heater had failed. I called several plumbers, and Puopolo got back to me first. They came over and had the old one removed and a new hot water heater in place by the end of the day. As it turned out, the water was coming from a malfunctioning humidifier, not the hot water heater. However, I assumed that was the problem and that's what I told Puopolo. So, word to the wise: don't diagnose the problem yourself. The new water heater (A. O. Smith 40 gallon) works well but temperature control is tricky, low is very low, and next notch up is quite hot.

They fixed what was broken.  They were responsive, professional, and competent.

We were without water for only one day.  Mr Puopolo put the toilet back where it belongs. The other party gave us a loaner pump until ours could be fixed.  The whole process went well.  We now await our repaired pump.

I would recommend Mr. Puopolo to anyone needing a plumber.

E Puopolo has replaced my water heater for my unit and now has to replace one for my tenants. They always call me back, try to squeeze me in even though they are super busy and have professional and courteous staff who know what they are doing. Steve gives me good advice--his staff recommended that I replace the water heater for my tenant when my broke but I did not listen. Well, they are now here, less than 2 months later, replacing the water heater. Once, they came over to help me put in a water line to my refrigerator. It was an emergency and the plumbers came over, fixed it and left. I cannot thank them enough.

Very responsive, professional, and thorough.  I recently purchased my house in Arlington and have used Puopolo twice for minor repairs and have been very pleased with their service, quality, and price.

We have had a good experience with them. I do not know how much they charged us for their last service but it was very reasonable. We have used them repeatedly and they are very good. The best part about our overall experience with them is that they are very prompt, they get the job done and their pricing is reasonable. We would certainly use them again in the future.

I've used these guys for a few years now. They are responsive and prompt. I can leave them alone at the property and trust that things will be handled responsibly. The price was reasonable. They've always been reliable. They've always done the job that I wanted them to do. It's a family company. I was satisfied with what work they've done in the past. Their price is fair. It's what I would expect from any plumbing company. They come usually within a day or so. They're very punctual. There was one time where they didn't make it but they apologized profusely for it. They did come soon after that.

Wonderful service -- we're doing patchwork repairs anticipating renovations, and Puopolo solved a couple of problems, helping us get by until the big project starts.

They asked us for our specifications. They installed it quickly and neatly. There was an electrical problem that they could not solve and we did end up needing an electrician to fix it, but overall they are very professional and responsive. I would use them again.

Nice people--very responsive--very expensive

I had been a 10 year long customer. I called to get my washing machine connected and that took about half an hour. So I asked the plumber in my house how I would be billed for the service and he said an hour for the work. I asked if he could take a look at my drain to finish out the hour, since it wasn't even close to an hour, which he agreed to do. I get the bill a week later for two hours of work, for both the machine and drain. I call to explain I am surprised and upset, explaining the story above and Steve tells me that 'this is how it's done and I should have called him'. He then told me to 'pay what I thought was fair' and to get lost as a customer.

They solved the problem I had with my water heater. They are very good but only because I am a reasonable customer of theirs I can get an appointment within one week. Their pricing is adequate. I would recommend them to others and would use them again in the future.

Our newly purchased house had a slight leak and pitting in the basement sewer pipe. Steve Puopolo came to give an estimate and his crew came to do the work within a couple of days. The pipe was replaced with better materials than had been there originally and even though the work took about an hour longer than the estimate, we weren't charged anything extra- we were told that the estimate is what they stick to so no additional charges if they can't complete in the time frame. We had also purchased a new fixture for the kitchen sink which was installed very quickly. No leaks, no mess, and even fixed the water flow so that we got more pressure in the sink.

They did the work quickly, so I wasn't stuck in 4 feet of water. The supplied and installed new ball valves at no charge and did other additonal work regarding the water heater. The price was reasonable, the work was exceptional. I would use them again, without a doubt.
