"I recently had my old tub replaced with a walk in shower. The installers, Phillip and David did a great job on my project, they were courteous and answered all questions I had about the installation. They did a great job cleaning up after the work was finished. The shower looks great and it was done in less than 24hrs."

Army veteran, single father of 5, and a man who built this from real life experience, hard work, & a desire to serve people. Previously my work was ministry, helping others, and doing whatever work was needed to take care of my family and community. Professional Services provides professional outdoor and property services throughout Minden and North Louisiana area. We specialize in tree work, stump grinding, brush clearing, storm cleanup, minor repairs, property maintenance, and general outdoor & interior solutions with years of hands-on experience in construction, repairs, and problem-solving.\n\nTreating people fairly, honestly, and quality work I can stand behind are daily principals. "Very professional. Jeromy wore a mask. He was polite and cleaned up the area after the install. I have a Choice Home Warranty and called them for the plumbing repairs. All i had to pay was a contractor service fee. In the future if i need a plumber i will ask for the Company OSP Plumbing in the Henderson/ Las Vegas Nevada area and ask for Jeromy."

"They couldn't deliver, they specified items that after months of waiting, they could never deliver. In the mean time, they directed me to have plumbing rough and done, and then when they couldn't deliver the system for which the plumbing was done, I now have to spend several thousand dollars having the plumbing redone for another system that I found out on my own. The design was okay, some of their ideas were spot on, some of them were way off but ultimately they just couldn't deliver after holding $10,000 of my money for over 2 months. I am currently in a dispute with them with American Express because they still haven't credited me back the money I paid them to purchase things that they never delivered."

Plumbing questions, answered by experts

Common problems include leaks, clogs, and low water pressure. Regular maintenance prevents major disruptions.

Common signs of gas line leaks include a rotten egg smell, hissing sounds, dead plants around the area of the leak, and unexplained physical symptoms like dizziness and nausea. If you notice any of these signs, act immediately. Shut off the gas supply to your home and call a pro to assess the situation.

The P-trap (or S-trap in older homes) under your shower is designed to prevent sewer gas from coming back up, so you shouldn’t normally experience foul odors coming from your shower drain. If you do, the vent stack that introduces air into your plumbing system may be clogged, or you may have a more severe sewer main blockage. In either case, hire a plumber to fix the issue for you.

Yes, shower water goes into the septic tank. Shower water is a type of greywater, and in fact, all water used in a home with a septic system—including water from sinks, toilets, the dishwasher, and the washing machine—drains into the tank. When shower water enters the tank, debris like soap and hair travels with it. The solid debris sinks to the bottom to become sludge, while soap residue joins the scum layer at the top. The remaining water is treated in the tank before moving to the drain field for further treatment and dispersal. It is important to avoid putting oil or harsh chemicals down any drain, as they can cause clogs or disrupt the beneficial bacteria required for proper wastewater management in the septic system.

Yes, because any trapped moisture can have a negative impact on the integrity of the wall or façade of the building. Per the 2015 International Residential Code and Commentary: “Weepholes shall be provided in the outside wythe of masonry walls at a maximum spacing of 33 inches (838 mm) on center. Weepholes shall be not less than 3/16 inch (5 mm) in diameter. Weepholes shall be located immediately above the flashing.”
