"We were told we were getting insulated windows (Addison Plus) but got Addison Lite which is a lower grade of windows. Being a consumer we don't know the names of these windows & the windows we got are more drafty than what they took out. We've had service out several times & said everything is good just not insulated. When we contacted sales Lisa sent us a nasty response saying this is what you got & I will not be responding to any other emails or phone calls. I've called Corporate several times & no help, they just keep sending service out."

"November -Project was scheduled for Monday through Wednesday. Not finished. Came back on Saturday. Plumbing leaked in basement. Plumber came and fixed leaking. Bathroom still not properly finished. Now it is January and second installer came. He ripped out everything first installer put in. Was supposed to be Thursday and Friday. Had to come back on Saturday. Sunday water pouring into basement again. Shower not useable. Came back on Tuesday to fix problems. Finally finished but not in a timely manner whatsoever. What was supposed to take three days actually took two months. So frustrating."

Our main business is the measurement, design and installation of tempered glass shower doors. We install everything from economically priced sliders up to high end heavy glass custom enclosures. We have over 50 years of combined experience with these installs, as well as experience with mirrors, commercial windows and doors and other glass related projects (shelves, furniture, offices - etc). We buy from the best and well known vendors in the business - in fact 2 of the owners worked at the largest domestic manufacturer of shower doors for 7 years in sales and R&D. "This is only a limited summary. Buyer, especially seniors, BEWARE! Average product, but very poor installation quality and workmanship. BCI-BathPlanet of Indianapolis arrived an hour late without calling, and no return calls from the office, sales rep., or service manager. They damaged three areas of an adjoining wall into another room using a Sawzall. And, they left without telling me. I had to cleanup the paint and drywall debris. The next day they arrived, and I showed they the damage. They admitted they damaged the wall using the Sawzall. I withheld $500 of my payment. It should have been at least $4,000. They promised the following business day, a Monday, they would have someone call to make the repair that day, but they did not show and did not call. When I called their Customer Service, BCI-BathPlanet would not return my calls total of about 20 times. I had to stop by their office twice but they claimed "there was nothing they could do" to make the service manager return calls. They refused to have the owner call me. Our sales rep. used deceptive sales practices by claiming to be a part-owner. The office told me he was not a part owner. When I visited the office they said I could only talk with the service manager. Shower shelves fell off the walls. Caulking was very poor. After almost three months they finally attempted to make some initial repairs. So.e were satisfactory, but others were so bad I had them remove parts of the decorative trim because they said "it was the best they could do"."
