Skilled labor for all your home repair and remodeling needs. We allow our customers to purchase their own materials. This saves them extensive mark up on those items that others charge. Licensed plumbers and electricians on staff when required. General Handyman services of all kinds. Kitchen, Bathroom and Basement remodeling. Please note: There is a $90.00 fee for Insurance and home inspection estimates. The fee will be rebated off the cost of the job if Handyman Connection does the work.
Services we don't offer
Lawn work, carpet instillation, roofing, appliance repair (we will install appliances we just don't repair existing) and house cleaning. We do have a extensive referral list so call us for all of your home improvement needs. We may have a referral for you. No pricing is done over the phone, by picture or email. That's why estimates are always free!

We had a small hump in our kitchen floor due to a raised joist that needed to be repaired so our new hardwood floor could be installed. After some back and forth it was determined to be a cosmetic issue and they agreed to take the job. They were well aware that it was crucial we get this done so the installer could continue our installation. The HC guy came out on Thursday, pulled up the floor in the area leaving a large hole which was covered in plywood until he came back the next day. (Our refrigerator was pulled out to the middle of the kitchen.) He initially told us he would be here at 2:00 but upon leaving on Thursday said he hoped to be back at 9:30 if he could switch jobs. When 9:30 came and went we were expecting him at 2:00. By around 3:00 my husband began to call HC to see what was going on but was only able to leave a message. He left three messages with no reply. By 4:45 we knew they weren’t coming and very thankfully were able to scramble and arrange for someone else to finish the work. I left a message with HC telling them how unhappy I was and this terminated the job with them. About 10 minutes later the HC guy finally called. We aren’t certain if he intended to come because he said he was having car issues. My biggest problem with all this that they knew our timing issues, took the job, then didn’t have the professionalism to answer or return phone calls. HC was recommended by our flooring company and I will urge them to never do so again.

Nathan came to my in-laws home to see the damage and give an estimate to fix the ceiling damage. He made a quick assessment and we set 2 appointment times to fix the drywall and paint the ceiling within a week and a half of the estimate. At the end of the second day, the ceiling looked like there had never been any damage. Nathan did a fantastic job. My in- laws couldn’t be happier. In fact they have already had Nathan back to do more work!

Technician was very pleasant and seemed competent. He said I was expected to provide the materials. When I objected, he said this was to prevent any padding of materials by the contractor. I advised him that I did not have time to run down materials and would not know what to buy anyway. I said that the last technician from the company purchased the material he needed and I reimbursed him. He said he could do that. I warned him that any padding of material cost would result in a law suit and notification of the attorney general. Later that afternoon, a woman from the company called and said she didn't feel comfortable with threats to her technician. She was very defensive about it, and I cancelled the contract.

"Our goal is to always save our customers money when we can. That is why we provide skilled labor for their project with them providing the items needed. Home improvement is costly enough without a contractor making extra money off of material. Most contractors who give a quote for labor and materials mark these items up as much as 40%. They make money off both the job and the material. That is also why many service providers take a 50% down payment before a job even starts. We choose not to operate this way and have done so for 30 years. This is explained in detail to every customer on our Angie's List profile and again when they call to make a appointment. We always suggest that a customer read a company's full profile before calling."

The company responded quickly to my message. A tech came out and provided an estimate. We ended up changing a few things around but they were flexible. They were a little backed up so it took a few weeks to get on the schedule but all work was done in one day. The gentleman installed a new dog door into our 3rd bay so our dogs could get into the fenced in backyard. He also fixed some trim work that my dog had chewed on, installed hose racks and a new hose splitter on the side of the house. I had new patio chairs and one was missing the correct drill hole to assemble and he added the hole and assembled the chair. He was very helpful as I added a few of the items on the day he came. I would definitely hire them again for other projects! It was so nice to just have everything completed quickly and properly!

Nate did an excellent job. The fence posts were being ejected. He reset the bad posts and now the fence looks just like it did when it was new. He also fixed a bedroom door frame that was broken years ago. Excellent work, excellent price.
