 + -1 moreQuote was prepared in a timely manner, and price was generally a good quote. Randy worked with me in changes during the project and completed the project requested. I felt the overall quality of the work was not professional. Paint was sloppy and required followup work to clean up and touch up. This should not be needed by a professional. Remodel work was generally done satisfactorily. Nothing exceptional, just average work. Overall, not a good experience and I would not recomend him.
Description of Work: Paint entire house interier, remodel bathrooms, repair garage walls and celing. Generally propare house for sale.

 + -1 moreHE WAS REFERRED TO ME BY THE COMPANY WHERE I BOUGHT MY DOORS, AND THEY TOLD ME THEY HAVE SINCE HAD SIMILAR PROBLEMS WITH HIM.
Description of Work: OLD ENTRANCE DOUBLE-DOOR SYSTEM REMOVED INCLUDING REMOVAL OF NEW EXPENSIVE HARDWARE(DOOR HANDLES AND DEADBOLDTS ON BOTH DOORS). ON HIS BUSINESS CARD HE BILLS HIMSELF AS A MASTER CARPENTER, BUT HE DIDN'T FINISH MY DOORS WITH QUATER ROUND OR ANYTHING. ALSO REMOVAL OF ANOTHER ENTRANCE DOOR AND REPLACEMENT OF NEW DOOR. HE CRACKED THE TILE AROUND MY BIG ENTRANCE DOOR. THERE WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE DOORS THEMSELVES THAT NEEDED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF BEFORE HE COULD REPLACE THE HANDLES AND LOCKS. ONCE THAT WAS TAKEN CARE OF HE WAS TO COME BACK AND RE-INSTALL THEM. ALSO, THE SINGLE DOOR SYSTEM WAS INSTALLED INCORRECTLY AS THERE ARE VISIBLE GAPS TO THE OUTSIDE ALONG THE EDGE OF THE DOOR. AFTER SEVERAL UNRETURNED PHONE MESSAGES WERE LEFT, I FINALLY CAUGHT HIM ON HIS CELL PHONE (THE ONLY PHONE HE LISTS ON HIS BUSINESS CARD). HE SAID HE WOULD LOOK AT HIS SCHEDULE AND GET OUT 'THIS WEEK TO TAKE CARE OF IT'. THAT WAS OVER A MONTH AGO AND HE DOESN'T ANSWER HIS PHONE ANYMORE.

 + -1 moreRANDY WAS REFERRED TO ME BY A DOOR COMPANY TO INSTALL A LARGE ENTRY SYSTEM. THERE WAS A BIG PROBLEM WITH THE DOOR SYSTEM FOUND AFTER INSTALLATION. RANDY LEFT WITHOUT REPLACING THE HARDWARE TO THE DOOR PENDING THE REPLACEMENT OF DOOR PARTS. IT TOOK MONTHS FOR THE DOOR COMPANY TO GET THE DOOR REPAIRED, BUT IT IS NOW FINISHED. DURING THAT TIME OTHER PROBLEMS WITH RANDY'S WORK WERE POINTED OUT TO ME AND BECAME OBVIOUS. I CALLED RANDY AND SPOKE TO HIM THREE WEEKS AGO. HE SAID HE WOULD TALK TO THE DOOR COMPANY AND BE OUT TO MY HOUSE TO FIX THE PROBLEMS AND INSTALL THE HARDWARE ON THE DOOR. HE HAS NOT SHOWN. I HAVE LEFT REPEATED MESSAGES ON HIS CELL PHONE, AND HE HAS NOT RETURNED MY CALLS. I PAID HIM IN GOOD FAITH FOR A FINISHED JOB, AND HE SAID HE'D BE BACK TO FINISH BUT HAS NOT FINISHED.
