"Wholesome business, went ABOVE AND BEYOND for our roofing needs. Indy Rooftops has spent several hours on the phone with my insurance to make sure they pay every dollar owed against the claim. We all know insurance companies can be slime balls in keeping their end of the bargain, but Indy Roof tops has a great legal footing to ensure insurance are held liable for their expenses. They are super easy to work with, communicates easily and clearly via text which is a millennial’s dream for project management. When I do call, they instantly answer the phone no matter the hour- out of this world customer service! 100% recommend, so glad they knocked on our door after a hail storm, would never have known about the work needing done and now we will have a safe home for another 20+ years."

"Aztez representative and workers were prompt and courteous. Overall the job turned out OK and looks nice. The James Hardie stucco sheets and trim were installed in a manner that is much better and should be more weather resistant than original stucco sheets. All trim pieces, including angle cuts, were cut by hand with a circular saw but look very good. Notes from the job that lead to my overall rating. 1) Aztec representative and workers communicated very well with me to discuss and decide on options for specific details to ensure the overall look and appearance was maintained. 2) Instead of removing the old siding, I was talked into installing the new sheets over the existing sheets. Because of this, I asked repeatedly to be informed of any damage or deterioration due to water intrusion (old siding had rotted in several locations) and to remove/repair any damage prior to installing the new sheets and trim. To my knowledge, this did not happen because I caught working covering up one location that needed repair. I was disappointed this was not brought to my attention. Were there other areas of damage that were covered up and not repaired? I'll never know. 3) Job was quoted with 2 coats of paint. Paint was sprayed and completed in 1 day. I asked how it was possible to apply 2 coats of paint in one day without letting the 1st coat dry. I was told, 2 passes with the sprayer was the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. I was not aware of this practice and not sure this really constitutes the equivalent of 2 coats of paint. While I noted that I would hire again, this would only be with closer oversight. The latter 2 issues left me with the opinion that the priority of the workers was to get the job done as quickly as possible with less emphasis on quality of work. While I have given a passing grade, there is opportunity for improvement."

"JD Hostetter struggled with simple tasks like getting the right paint, putting trim in the right spot, or following basic installation instructions. They repeatedly no-call-no-showed, and often just appeared in my yard without warning. My family felt unsafe when the owner, Tom, said he visited my property unscheduled & unannounced while we were inside unaware. When I later met Tom, I was shouted at and talked down to. He kicked & broke my garden light with no apology. His workers were similar; his painter angrily demanded I get on the roof myself when I politely asked him to fix a mistake. The siding they first put on was warped due to poor install and had to be redone. The cheap stuff they replaced it with doesn't match my house. It's lower grade (18-S/W) than even my shed's siding, and they only gave it 1 spotty coat of paint. Also, 2 roofing companies investigating a water leak both stated it was due to flashing damage by JD Hostetter. I've had no response from them about this."

However, the contractor did not show up on the scheduled date and has not communicated with the customer since the confirmation. The customer has been unable to reach the contractor since March 28th."
