"Angel and his crew stained my cedar fence June 2024. The job looked great a year later except for the gate for some reason. I called Angel and he came back and stained the gate again at no charge. It looks fantastic. I highly recommend this company for fence staining because they stand behind their work and do a good job. They also communicate very well with updates as to their arrival to do a job."

"We hired Precise Painting and Restoration to restain our mahogany front door. Juan was very polite, professional and he quoted us a reasonable price. His team of painters were efficient and did excellent work. Both Juan and the painters were interested in knowing that we were pleased as the worked progressed and upon completion. We will definitely hire Precise Painting and Restoration again and will recommend them to family and friends."

"Derek, the owner, was outstanding. I could not have asked for a better experience. He provided the best crew to work on my home. They were on time, meticulous, and extremely clean. I did end up asking for additional work to be done and Derek was more than accommodating. I would hire this company again and again. Thank you Derek, Gilberto, Mike & Arti!"

"Excellent. Anthony's team was timely, professional and provided a very high quality product. The existing stain was 9 years old and considerable repair of loose and cracked boards was needed especially on the south elevation. Preemo completed a complete color change and addressed all the siding issues without additional carpentry costs. Lots of compliments and inquiries from neighbors."

"I can’t say enough about this company! They transformed my ugly kitchen into a magazine worthy one! They can fix anything. If something didn’t go right with our ever-so-problematic cabinets that we ordered, they would always make it work. Super reliable and always cleaned up at the end of the day when they were done. Very respectful of our needs. They did what we asked, but used their professional judgement in everything they did. Offered other ideas or suggestions to help us out. I can’t wait to use them to remodel our laundry room!"

"Saul was on time and went immediately to work. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism. He and his assistant did not miss a thing, from cleaning up the cobwebs up high I couldn't reach, to covering every square inch for flooring beneath the paint areas to sanding and prepping the walls before painting. I do not think I could give a higher rating to this company, they are truly the best of the best!"

Deck Staining questions, answered by experts

You have a couple of options when choosing a durable pool deck coating. Epoxy is common and offers excellent stain and water resistance. Epoxy also withstands high temperatures and UV lighting, making it ideal for sunny spots. You can also add a coating to cement, which significantly lowers the temperature of the concrete, is environmentally safe, and makes cleanup a breeze.

A properly applied coat of stain will last between 3 and 8 years, depending on your climate. If you live in a place where your fence experiences a lot of moisture or high heat, your stain will last for a shorter period than in more temperate conditions. We recommend reapplying stain every 3 to 5 years to keep your wood in good condition.

Here's the deal with leaving used rags covered in oil-based stain lying around in a pile: Depending on the conditions, these rags can take just an hour or up to a few days to combust. The source of ignition is caused by trapped heat that can be compounded if the rags are near a heat source.

Yes, they provide design insights that enhance space utility and visual appeal.

Staining or sealing a cedar deck or fence is highly recommended to extend its lifespan and protect it from the elements. While cedar is naturally resistant to mold and mildew, it is not impervious to damage from moisture, sun exposure, splintering, fading, and rot over time. Applying a protective finish creates a shield that preserves the wood's strength and appearance, potentially extending its life by five to 10 years.

When choosing a finish, it's helpful to understand the difference between a sealer and a stain. A sealer sits on top of the wood, whereas a combination stain and sealer soaks into the top layer. Because it penetrates the wood, a stain generally offers better protection against UV damage and rot and lasts significantly longer. For the best results that also preserve the wood's natural color, consider using a near-translucent stain.

To maintain protection, plan on reapplying the stain or sealer every two to three years, either as a DIY project or by hiring a professional.
