"I have a metal framed awing over my patio with a canvas cover. It is like the kind that you would see at a bar or restaurant. Thomas and his crew have been helping me for years now, installing the cover in the spring and taking it down in the fall. They have been great to work with. Very timely and professional."

"We couldn't be happier with our decision to hire O'Rourke Deck Services to build our new Cedar deck! From start to finish the process was so easy and stress free for us. Sean was quick to provide a very thorough estimate in a wide range of materials so we could select one that fit our exact budget. They handled all the permitting and the work was done quickly, We really could not be happier with the result. Thanks again Sean and Jesse!"

"We had our chimney tuck pointed and a roof put on the house. The old roof wasn’t torn down this it wasn’t in real bad shape and there was only one layer on. The work was all done in one day and everything was cleaned up when they left."

"Garcia was a pleasure to do business with. He replaced siding and a window for me after my house was damaged by a fire. He was prompt and always communicated with me about what his plans were for the work he was going to do. He also went out of his was to special order a window for me. Above all, I feel his prices are very reasonable and itâ s quality work. I highly recommend Garcia and would definitely hire him again."

"Slow and carefully in the midst of COVID. Workers were tidy and polite. Small issues. Hardware used to hang one cabinet was left poking through into the dining room. Lighting installed beneath cabinets failed after 9 months."

"I love a family owned business. They were kind , if I didn't like something they fixed it right then and there.. The whole crew was very nice and trustworthy. They did an excellent job laying pavers for my patio, and landscaping in front of my house as well. Everything looks great."

"I have worked with Green Art every Spring for 3 years. The initial service they worked with an independent lawn and garden designer that I hired to design a perennial garden. Both the front and street-sides of the gardens, Green Art did all the work. I have hired them every spring to help groom any bushes, weeding and replanting any plant that it not make it through the winter. They also mulch and manicure the garden and leave it prestine. I get a lot of compliments on my gardens and how it brightens my home. They are super with whom to work and I will be working with them next spring."

While the terms deck and porch are often used interchangeably, they are two distinct home features. Porches offer a roof that protects from the elements when coming and going from the house. Generally, porches are on the front of your home. On the other hand, decks are generally built in the backyard of a home and offer no roof or protection from the elements, like rain or snow. Porches typically require less maintenance and upkeep thanks to the roof, but both features require regular cleaning and repairs to maintain good condition.
It might seem counterintuitive, but the best time to install a paver patio is during late fall to winter. The cold and wet weather of those seasons can help your patio installer perfect the foundation for your patio. Plus, you'll likely be able to find better sales and deals during the colder months when patio installation business is typically slower. Consult a local patio paver professional to determine the best time to install based on your area’s climate.
The cost to build a deck is $8,025 on average. However, this cost can range anywhere from $1,500 to $22,000, depending on multiple factors, such as size, materials, and deck type. You can expect to pay $30 to $60 per square foot when building a new deck.
Cedar decks are often the most cost-effective option, ranging from $4 to $9 per square foot for materials. However, pressure-treated decking, which is resistant to rot, is more expensive, ranging from $15 to $25 per square foot for materials.
A paver patio can last anywhere from 20 to 100 years, depending on the type of pavers and how well you maintain them.
Travertine pavers are usually the most durable, lasting 100 years or more, with regular maintenance. Concrete brick pavers have a variety of shapes and colors available and typically last 25 to 50 years. Traditional brick pavers have a more classic look, lasting around 20 years with proper maintenance.
The cost of a paver patio is $3,800 for a 280-square-foot patio on average. Depending on the patio size, paver material, and design complexity, this cost can range from $2,400 to $7,000 or more.
The size of your patio is a significant factor in the project’s overall cost. If you're building a smaller patio of only 60 square feet, your costs will be closer to $480 to $1,500. If you want a more luxurious 900-square-foot patio, you'll spend closer to $7,200 to $22,500.
