"On November 15th Chicago was hit with some extreme wind gusts that caused my water heater pilot light to extinguish. I thought this was a simple reset, but the problem was more complicated. I learned the electrode was defective. Had I undertaken this project as a DIY, I would have spent more time than I would have cared to try to figure out why I could not get a flame for my water heater. I was smart to call Four Seasons. My technician figured out the problem quickly. There are times when calling a professional makes sense. I am not an expert on water heaters outside of knowing how to turn it on, clean it periodically, and knowing when I need a new one. Thank you Four Seasons for responding quickly and bringing me hot water."

"Started with a depressing and ugly attic bathroom and finished with an ipdated modern and beautiful bathroom.   Lots of assistance as I struggled to find the right lights, tiles. fixtures and kept trying to help me make the right choices.  It's a real skill when a contractor can stop and listen to the client and Pawel does just that.

"Black Diamond was very accommodating in scheduling and very prompt when the appointed time came. They discovered ,at the time , the secondary but most important reason for all the failures, THE SURGE THAT COMPROMISED THE INTEGRITY OF MY IN-HOUSE ELECTRICITY. I would hire them in a heart beat if I need any problems in my house"

Chandelier Installation questions, answered by experts

It’s possible to remove a new construction recessed light without getting into your attic, though it’s a bigger job. You’ll need to identify the joist locations using a stud finder, then cut a square hole in the drywall of your ceiling to remove the fasteners holding the fixture. After removing the light, you’ll have to patch and paint the ceiling again.

There are few disadvantages to LED bulbs when compared to incandescent, but that isn’t to say they are perfect. Cooler LED lights emit an enormous amount of blue light. This can affect people with certain conditions and has been known to mess with your circadian rhythm. LEDs can also overheat, are prone to flicker, and may not be consistent in color across all bulbs in a pack

Pendant lights are very versatile, and you can almost always find one with your preferred style that accepts your preferred bulb. Today, many fixtures use LED bulbs, though it’s still completely possible to find one that uses halogen, fluorescent, or even old-school incandescent bulbs. The manual that comes with your light should tell what types of bulbs you can use with it.

LED lights are certainly more energy-efficient, using 75% less energy than incandescent bulbs—this can help you save on your utility bills during what is an already expensive holiday season. In addition, LED lights last much longer than incandescent bulbs, about 25% longer. That said, they are also a bit more expensive than incandescent Christmas lights, and emit a bluish hue which some people don't like, compared to the golden glow of an incandescent bulb.

Under-cabinet lights are typically affixed to mounts that are drilled into the cabinet using screws. Cable staples are used to secure the cords in place. Alternatively, tape lights can be attached directly to the underside of the cabinet using adhesive. These installation methods provide secure and versatile—and potentially removable—options for illuminating your kitchen space.
