"A few bumps in the road because I needed so much carpet.  LOL  Included in the install was moving all the heavy furniture. I had two separate times they came out to complete this much work. Very respectful and clean.
I had the carpet installed two years ago and the carpet is holding up perfectly. Mr. Carpet had to come out because I had a bubble in the walk way. The men came out within a week and fixed it at no charge. Was impressed with how fast and friendly the response back to me was. I love, love my carpet and I am so happy I bought the high quality that I did.
If you are looking for a company who stands by their work even years later, then Mr. Carpet is the man you need to call. Home Depot and Menard's are less expensive but they are not as experience, the quality of the carpet is questionable to say the least, installation issues after 90 days can and will not be covered, the really just don't care about the consumer.
I highly recommend Mr. Carpet and how they care about the consumer even years later. Now that is service!!

"They were referred to me by multiple locals. Super happy with my floors! The workers were nice and professional. They didn't mind all the questions I had, as I had never had my floors refinished. My floors were in rough shape and now they look brand new! They even got out the decades old pet stains that I thought were permanent."

"Carl & Dan came to stretch our carpet on the 2nd floor and did an amazing job. They made our bumpy hallway and bedroom look brand new. They also were quick, on-time and a pleasure to work with. I would hire them again in a heartbeat - thanks again!"

Flooring Installation questions, answered by experts

No, when done correctly, removing the tile shouldn’t damage the subfloor. However, if there was pre-existing damage to the subfloor from standard use or lack of maintenance, the subfloor may need repairs. For example, if the contractors notice mold growth on the subfloor or an uneven surface, you may need more extensive services before installing new tile.

If you DIY tile removal, remove the tiles one step at a time, individually removing the tile, grout, and mortar to prevent unnecessarily damaging the subfloor. Depending on the age of your home, consider having a professional inspect the subfloor to ensure it’s in good enough condition to lay new tile.

Yes, marble floors do increase home values. In fact, if you install marble flooring in your home, you can expect to double your investment. Homebuyers love marble, like other types of stone flooring, because it’s timeless, beautiful, wears well, and is considered a luxury product. Marble is expensive to install, but if your house and location attract buyers looking for luxurious, upscale vibes, adding marble flooring can only raise your property value and give you a great return on your investment.

Yes, you can recycle most types of carpet. If you hire a pro to remove your old carpet, ask about their carpet disposal process. Many companies will recycle the carpeting, but if yours doesn’t, you can ask them to take it to a recycling center for you (although there might be an additional fee). Alternatively, you can hire a junk hauling service or contact a carpet recycling organization (like CARE).

Linoleum flooring lasts about 20 to 40 years. While it is durable, it does wear out from foot traffic and even the weight of furniture over time. It can also become faded or discolored from sunlight streaming in through the windows.

A transition piece between carpet stairs and wood flooring isn't always necessary. A transition piece separates two types of flooring in between rooms and areas, like carpet and vinyl. Because the carpet on the stairs tucks into the seam, you can’t see the fringes, and there is no need to hide anything. However, you can use a stair cap if your stairs have a nose.
