"I requested quotes and met with a number of companies. By far, I enjoyed meeting with John. He was informative and thorough at our meeting. Given the information provided, and our own research, I also felt as though our values matched up nicely. So much so, that we planned on using EDI services, given the quote was reasonable. However, we were never given our quote. We were strung along by a series of emails, and then received no more responses. I have tried many times to reach out for the quote, and after that, to inquire as to what happened. Again, no response at all. Now, after waiting so long, we have to start the entire process over again, and as it is October, we essentially have no hope of getting a new roof this season. I really hope our current last through the winter. This is entire unprofessional behavior, and I grow so weary of companies that make promises and do not fulfil them. We should at the very least be treated with enough respect to be given an explanation as to why they cannot or will not perform the work."

"Matt Skubiz team from Dream Home Exteriors did a phenomenal job. My roof required a double tear off and partial plywood underlayment replacement. His team of very hardworking roofers came and finished everything in one day! Very importantly, a few things really to Matt's credit and all the people that work for him. Phone calls promptly returned, usually within minutes. Start to finish in one day. Took proactive steps to protect the landscape, central air, garage doors, etc... Cleaned up! Did a really good job at cleaning up. Several of my neighbors commented to me as well that they were impressed at how well of a job they did. I also had 1 piece of aluminum fascia that needed replacement which they replaced and matched very well to existing that had been put up about 17 years ago. I sought out bids from multiple roofers, with Matt's being the most competitive, despite 1 of the other bids using exactly the same materials. Matt also has a greater detailed contract, spelling out clearly what's included, so you don't have to guess. Some of the other contracts I reviewed were not very complete, nor as professional looking. He has a very well rounded approach from start to finish and respectful as well. By the way, I am a Real Estate Appraiser for 45 years and have watched quite a few roofers. I never knew Matt before he did my roof. So, if someone asks me, I will have no problem recommending. His original quote clearly stated the job would include taping, mudding, sanding, and priming ? but after doing only the taping and mudding, he suddenly claimed sanding and priming were ?extra" To make matters worse, the mudding work he did do is full of bubbles and looks terrible. When I tried to discuss it with him and find a solution, he hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional and dishonest from start to finish. Don?t make the same mistake I did ? look elsewhere for someone who stands behind their word and does quality work."

"Simon and Sons is a great family owned business. I contacted for an assesment to clean or replace our gutters. They Respinded immediately via Angie's List. Showed up on time for a review and to provide an estimate. I found the estimate to be reasonable and realistic given history of the home and other estimates received. I respected they prefer a visual assessment and not use google earth to provide an estimate as one company chose to do. They showed up on time and cleaned up leaving the property as they found it. In some instances better, We discussed ongoing maintenance going forward. They will be this home owners contractor for all things Roofing and Gutter related. I am quite please with the excellent work and customer service. Observing their work ethic has also earned another client from my neighbor. Well done Simon and Sons"
