Customers say: True professional

"Initial interactions left me with the impression of a truly professional organization.  I felt like they were really interested in my business even though they were clearly very busy with other work.  We had contacted numerous other companies that were not so professional.  The George F. Neff company was very good about returning calls and provided a prompt quote and timely responses to questions.  Although the price seemed just a little high, their professionalism made it clear that this was the company that we wanted to do the work.
When we authorized the work Jon was clear that they were very busy, so it might take a while to get the work done, but expressed confidence that they could at least complete the repair portion of the work before winter.  We set a tentative date to initiate the work, but Jon indicated that there was a risk that work on new-builds may require rescheduling our job.  A few days prior to the scheduled time we were contacted about starting the work.  Unfortunately one of their larger customers contacted them the following day with work that had to be completed on new-builds, so we had to re-scheduled our project.  Jon was very apologetic, but we knew before authorizing the work that this was a potential risk and were not disturbed by the change.
A few days prior to the new date we were contacted again about starting the work.  This time there were no surprises and the Neff company was able to begin.  I met with Jon and two of his crew on the morning that they began the work and went over the details of what we wanted to accomplish again.  Jon brought texture samples with him to help us choose what texture we wanted to use on the new finish coat.  He left those with us over the weekend so that we could spend some time contemplating the choice.
I chose to spend that first day working from home in case there were questions, but there was no need.  The crew went to work on the repairs and it was clear from the outset that they knew exactly what needed to be done.  When they removed the stucco in the area with the most damage they helped me to inspect the home's framing to be certain that there was no water damage.  Fortunately everything was in good shape and they were able to continue with the stucco repairs without delay.
The work crew exhibited the same professionalism that Jon had, and they clearly enjoyed their work.  My wife and I even enjoyed hearing them whistle while they worked!  They were very neat about their work as well.  They put out tarps to catch the debris removed from the home and carried it away in buckets to be discarded.  By the end of the first day they made sure to complete enough of the repairs that there was no longer a risk of water damage to the framing of the home.  Since it was a long weekend coming up due to Thanksgiving this was a concern of mine that I had expressed to them before starting.
They didn't resume until Tuesday of the following week due to inclement weather.  I chose not to work from home, but my wife reported that they continued to exhibit the same pleasant work ethic throughout the job.  By the end of the week the work was complete and the job site was thoroughly cleaned.  The stucco looked great!  The color and texture is exactly what we were expecting, and the quality of workmanship was impeccable.  The price may have been a little higher than expected, but it was worth every penny, but I would hire them again and would recommend George F. Neff & Co. to others.

"Good company to work with. There were some small oversights on the part of the estimator, but overall, nothing that I wasn't able to figure out with the install crew, once on site. I'd be happy to give them a call again on the next project."

"I highly recommend Buckeye Wildlife. David was very professional, knowledgeable and courteous. He arrived on time for the initial inspection and was able to identify what animals were in my attic. He installed a couple of traps and checked them everyday. I was very impressed with how accessible he was. He followed up with me everyday by either leaving a post-it note on the front door or via phone and email. He offered an estimate of a permanent fix to keep animals out of the attic in the future. While the total proposal was a little out of my budget, David was willing to fix the immediate issues which did fit into my budget. I plan to go forward with all the proposed work soon. I chose Buckeye Wildlife because of the high ratings they have received and I am happy to confirm them. They deserve 5 stars. I highly recommend Buckeye Wildlife. "C I did a wonderful job installing a new front door and storm door for us. Both doors were top quality and the installers were quick and did a great clean up. Door function and seal were perfect. We have lived in several houses over the years and there is always work to be done but I don't think I have worked with a better outfit, from sales to installation, than CI. Thanks guys!"

Customers say: Terrific value

"Can’t say enough good things about Marcus. He was on time, professional, and extremely honest with inspection and estimate. On agreed work he showed up early and worked efficiently, cleaned up area, and discussed his work when completed. I would definitely recommend Reba’s for any home repair/install. He definitely earns 5* all around."

EIFS Installation FAQs

Siding repair costs $870 for an average homeowner. This cost could be as little as $75 or as much as $16,000, depending on your existing siding material, repair type, and damage level. For example, for basic siding repair, you can expect to pay between $2 and $16 per square foot for materials and labor. However, if you have extensive damage or for more expensive materials like stucco, that price jumps to $4 to $50 per square foot.

The cost to replace siding for your home is $11,450 on average. But siding replacement can cost up to $40,000 or more, with the largest expense being your chosen material. For example, for a 2,000 square feet house, the average cost of siding materials such as vinyl is between $9,000 and $14,000. Wood siding is a little more expensive, ranging from $16,000 to $26,000. However, for the same size house using brick or stone, that cost jumps to $18,000 to $100,000. When choosing to replace your home’s siding, it’s essential to consider your climate and longevity.

Many general contractors can handle adding stucco siding, but it’s best to hire a local stucco contractor as you’re more likely to get a clean finish on your stucco siding that maximizes curb appeal. Stucco can be a challenging material to work with, so hiring a professional contractor who has years of experience and specializes in stucco application is advisable. Compare price quotes from at least three stucco contractors in your area to find the right pro for your task.

There are several different types of siding available to give you the home exterior of your dreams. Each type of siding has its own cost factors, estimated lifespan, and benefits to fit your needs. Some common siding options include:

  • Vinyl

  • Wood

  • Aluminum

  • Fiber cement

  • Brick

  • Stone and stone veneer

  • Stucco

If you want to stay environmentally friendly, wood siding is natural, recyclable, and renewable. However, if you’re looking for a durable siding option that is more resistant to dents and scratches, brick or stone siding is your best choice.

The average cost of stucco siding is $5,400, ranging from $2,200 to $8,840. Stucco is worth the investment, provided you have the work done by a professional. Not only is stucco an attractive and durable siding material that boosts your home’s curb appeal, but it’s also more energy-efficient than most other siding options, it’s fire-resistant, water-resistant, and more affordable to repair down the road.
