The quality of work is fantastic, and Marek is the best project manager you could ask for. The reason I removed one star is because I believe the quoted contract price, specifically for allowances, can improve. You should expect to add a minimum of $20,000 to your contract price. I also recommend referring to your contract throughout to ensure you aren’t getting an extra charge for something that should be included. Like I said, the quality of work is fantastic, but the up front pricing can improve.

4.5 stars! SUMMARY: The 4Ever Remodeling team did an amazing job updating our 1960's bathroom! Generally, the 4Ever team was helpful, knowledgeable, professional, skilled, communicative, patient, prompt/reliable, neat, efficient, experienced, customer focused and organized. We highly recommend 4Ever. That being said one aspect of working with 4Ever Remodeling was lacking -the design service. A big part of our choosing 4Ever was the design service included in signing with them. We looked forward to working with a designer to help us find the various finishes for our project. Someone who was going to walk us through picking all of our selections. In the end their designer was often not on the same page with us. We didn’t feel listened too/heard so most of the finishes we found on our own. This was a very disappointing part of the process. Below we have noted some specifics..... SALES: The salesman, our first contact with 4Ever Remodeling, was very thorough and patient. Of the four renovation companies we interviewed, the 4Ever salesman was the only person to really analyze our project. He presented things we should consider. For example, he actually got in the existing bathtub and demonstrated how converting the bathtub to a shower, with a glass door, would be tight (our arms would hit the glass wall when showering). He asked what was on the other side of the shower and we discussed folding some space from an existing closet adjacent into the bathroom. He was very patient. He went over the contract in detail multiple times without ever pressuring us or appearing impatient. He revised the wording/content of a number of lines of the contract multiple times to ensure that all work was spelled out specifically in great detail to our satisfaction. As a result, no real surprises arose. DESIGN: The job was to remodel our bathroom, last renovated in the 60’s. It was not only was badly out of date but it clashed horrible with the rest of our home which retained most of its original 1912 Craftsman characteristics -warm, clean simple lines, lots of stained wood. The goal was to create a functional, modern bathroom that was in sync with the rest of our home. Once the designer was assigned our project she came out to view our home and specifically our bathroom. At that time, we presented her photos of colorful ceramic floor tiles and a wooden vanity/medicine cabinet that we liked and gave her pictures of those items. We told her that we did not want anything that was washed out or sapped of color. Specifically, we said that we didn't want any grey or beige. We emphasized that we wanted color. We also emphasized that we did not want small tiles because small tiles would mean lots and lots of grout. We told her we wanted to install tiles that were as large as possible. The 4Ever designer described our home as warm. The designer left, without taking the photos that we provided, stating that she would present us with a design plan including tile colors, vanities, etc in the 4 Ever showroom. When we met with the designer in the 4Ever showroom, she had cabinet fronts and tiles laid out for our review. Almost every sample she laid out was precisely what we said that we did not want when the designer met with us initially. Small, washed out, colorless tiles and a painted vanity panels with muted colors. We left the showroom with the conclusion that finding the tiles, vanity/vanity counter, medicine cabinet/mirror, hardware and all the plumbing fixtures would be up to us. In the end we procured m selections without the assistance of the designer. We did select a shower wall tile that we spotted in the 4Ever showroom in our first meeting with the saleman. The designer was helpful in choosing a grout color to go with the shower wall tiles. We procured our floor tiles and grout from an outside source. The 4Ever designer provided the square footage of the floor/shower floor tiles that we should order. She ordered the shower wall tiles. (Initially, she did not order enough and we had to purchase another box). It was not until the day of the pre-construction walk through that we learned that the designer had not ordered the grout or Schluter for the shower walls along with the tiles that 4Ever was procuring. We were informed that we needed to purchase these items through our outside source. This last-minute notification put us under the gun to acquire the materials so as to not cause a delay. In addition, this small, last-minute purchase (below their minimum order threshold) resulted in a sizeable surcharge that was completely avoidable had these materials been included in our original order. Our designer identified the grout color and quantity as well as the Schluter color to procure but made no mention of the depth of the Schluter. We never considered that the depth of the Schluter would be different from the floor tile so we (special) ordered the additional footage needed to finish the shower walls. Fortunately, when our the tradesman, who was installing the tile, identified that we had the wrong size Schluter the Project Manager noted several local sources where we could procure the needed, correctly sized Schluter locally. We were able to procure the correct Schluter that night so that the tradesman could install it the next day. Because we initially ordered the wrong size/depth of the Schluter we ended up with four lengths of Schulter that we paid for but could not be used or returned. This was another avoidable expense for us. PROJECT MANAGER: Initially we had concerns that the project manager would not (as promised by the salesman) coordinate with the non-4Ever Remodeling HVAC company who was installing the flooring heat. Once the project began those concerns disappeared. The 4Ever Project Manager was VERY communicative throughout the entire process. The Project Manager stated several times...."we do it until you are happy." That sums up the Project Manager's attitude and the attitude of the gentlemen who worked under his direction. He was knowledgeable, customer-focused, organized and kept us apprised of what was happening at all times. He was amazing! DEMO, FRAMING, DRYWALL/TILE INSTALLATION, PAINTING/STAINING: From demo to framing to drywall installation to laying shower/floor tiles to the installation of the vanity/medicine cabinet to painting/staining this single tradesman did a fantastic job! He was reliably on time, very skilled and hard working. He was respectful, polite and neat. Like any good tradesman ours was quick and efficient. He made complex work look easy; a testament to his skill. Staining and finishing the woodwork was the only task that did not appear to be easy. Even that he worked multiple times until we were happy with the result. ELECTRICAL: The electrician worked efficiently and in an organized, clean manner. He garnered our input as needed, making no assumptions. He was on time and when he was going to be delayed he phoned us to let us know. PLUMBING: The plumbers worked quickly and cleanly. They knew what had to be done. They were professional, friendly and punctual.

The work done was excellent especially the tile work. I appreciated that 4EverRemodeling has a brick and mortar store because many contractors disappear and can’t be found. I worked with Agnes, a wonderful designer and my bathroom is beautiful! I’m very happy with my bathroom and I’ve had compliments on it. The project took longer than expected but the end result is worth it.

Once again, they did an excellent job. They moved a wall to make the powder room larger and remodeled it to accommodate my handicapped mother. I have used them in the past and will use them in the future.

They did great work, had good ideas and finished on time.

I found 4Ever from scanning online reviews and Yelp, and consistently, all their customers seemed to have a positive experience. I bid out my project ( a gut unit renovation) to them and another contractor to get comparison bids. I had read from previous reviews that they were not the least expensive (nor most expensive), but you get what you pay for, and I felt comfortable with their pricing after bidding it out to another contractor I knew, so I felt they were in line. The whole team I interacted with was very professional. Ryan helped me with the initial project scope, I met Damian the owner at one of the initial emails, Klaudia helped with design work (while I had a vision in mind – her expertise helped me finesse some items – especially with the kitchen design), Diana helped with my construction draws through my bank and Marek was an excellent project manager. I loved their project management software, Buildertrend as it helped keep me updated with photos and weekly project updates. It was also the repository for all the invoicing and change order approvals. I appreciated the transparency. They also allowed you to furnish some items yourself to save on markups. But, in hindsight, while some items I still would have selected and purchased on my own, for others, I would have paid the nominal premium to go through them so I didn’t have to coordinate the delivery and ensure the timing was right to avoid any delays. If selecting items, yourself, I would just make sure to be proactive in terms of timeline expectations for anything are responsible in providing. As for the work itself, the quality was excellent. I was extremely happy with the skill and workmanship of all the contractors who 4Ever used for the job. There were very little change orders (all but one I would call unforeseen), which many times can be exponential as you get into things. Overall - would recommend them for home renovations.

Perfect! Everything from start to finish!

In general the work was great but slow and ran way over original as as extended timeline. The PM was nice a reasonable to work with but was never able to hold his team to the original schedule. The project was originally supposed to take 6-8 weeks (sales person). The PM said 8-10 weeks. Actual project took roughly 15-16 weeks. That meant we were without a kitchen for over 3 months!! The tile guy was excellent both with quality and timing. Their brick mason was quick and solid (even worked on the 4th of July). Their electricians and plumbing subs were quick/did quality work. The biggest issues was the main carpentry crew. They did decent work but were incredibly slow. Our other issue was that they would miss things that lead to them doing more work because they never looked at drawing or didn’t double check this. It lead to them having to move things around or cut back into the ceiling. Despite multiple mentions of the weight of our chandelier, sending specs and recommendations to reinforce this in the ceiling they ultimately realized it after the fact. In the end our kitchen is still beautiful however I think that this was mostly due to my wife designing it well, us holding them accountable semi managing the project (not idea) and choosing great light fixtures/finishes. I think had we needed more help on design or not done our own managing of materials this project would have been crazy expensive. They didn’t charge us for a few things that weren’t in original scope (in our drawings) but it wasn’t crazy. It’s hard to say whether I’d recommend them because they are like a 1-2 star on timing, 3-4 stars on pricing and 5 stars on quality. If you’re willing to semi manage the project and pay a little more for quality then these guys are a great value. I’d probably give them 3.5 stars given what I outlined and given the crew that we had. Great subs though.

The project was very smooth and was completed before the estimated deadline. We will definitely use them again and would highly recommend 4ever Remodeling. The work is very high quality with a strong attention to detail. The communication throughout the project with the designer, project manager, and all of the workers was outstanding. They had helpful recommendations and were able to help us find better options when needed. We love our new space and are very happy with how well project was managed.

4ever remodeling was fantastic to work with. They helped us to take our outdated kids bathroom and redesign it to be a wonderful guest bathroom. They completed the project very quickly. Marek, our contact for the project, was extremely responsive to all of our questions and requests. We are planning other projects with them and would highly recommend 4ever Remodeling.

We have used 4Ever Remodeling for two bathroom remodels and they have done a great job with excellent craftsmanship. The most recent bathroom remodel was a big deal for us because we had dreamed of one day getting a spa-like bath (photos included here). 4Ever did such an amazing job on our primary bath and we couldn't be happier. Would highly recommend them for remodeling projects.

I was very satisfied with the entire process of my bathroom remodel beginning with sales through design and the workmanship involved in completing the project. Designers were very helpful. Pricey, job took too long-longer than I was told. And I'm cleaning up paint splatters on a new quartz countertops, doors & found a tiny ding in one countertop. No dropcloths or protection used on quartz. Trades man who worked on kitchen was good, but they started him on another job before finishing mine and he rushed taking short cuts. Was told I'd get a credit for a difference in paint used-never happened. The credit amt is not a lot but it's the principal & was also in contract. Which happened once before when I used them for my bathroom reno last yr. Once is a mistake, twice is a pattern. Yet they are very quick at coming for a check before due date. Seems like they are less about customer service & satisfaction these days and more about the money.

On schedule, on budget, excellent craftsmanship, and every person was very polite. I would absolutely hire again.

From design, to build, they were very helpful, and thorough. Good communication via project manager helped us gauge where we were in terms of the completion of the job. Our new bathroom couldn’t be more in-line with what we wanted. All snags due to original builder issues were even remedied along the way. Great experience.

Maciek, Lien, Adam, and crew did a great job designing and remodeling our two bathrooms. Maciek was on top of everything as the project manager. Lien made the design process so easy and fun. Adam and crew are remodeling pros. When it came to communications, we texted each other but their project management app also made it easy to keep track of progress since they posted daily pictures and updates. I also liked that we were invoiced as different phases of the work was done. I'd absolutely work with them again.

Definitely a higher quality service and product with the reputation. Great response and product management involved with the trend builder app, which worked out good to give my wife and me daily updates and allowed us to keep track and comment including costs. They do higher end work and met this expectation with great knowledgeable workers who explained everything through the process. The only slight negative, is they could have done a better job explaining their cost structure to make sure the customer fully understands.

Excellent communication and customer service; timely as well. Work was done on time and with attention to ensuring the non-work area was kept clean. Budget was clear. Workers were all polite and respectful of family and home.
