"After the big spring rains, water began seeping into my basement at several locations. We decided to put in a new system that has a lot more safeguards. Our system, besides needing a new back up sump and battery, was antiquated a had issues with safeguards failing. This system is more technologically advanced than our old one and pumps more water out to boot. It also has more safeguards and fail safe measures.
