They also had to apply latex to part of the backing to assure it would be strong enough to stretch in one section. This carpet is a Berber and did not clean as well as the other stairwell. The Berber Carpet is a much tighter weave. The entire carpet took longer to dry than the stated 2 to 4 hours. "Marcus was very communicative before job day. He came in person to see the rooms needing work so he could make a firm quote, and then returned the next day to complete the job. He and his co-worker arrived on time and worked very steadily. I requested 3 rooms of carpet cleaning, 1 large lower level tile floor scrubbing, and stairs sanding/staining. The job was finished in one day. The floor and carpets were very worn and needed special attention. They came out really nice, and the flooring was better than I expected."
