They also had to apply latex to part of the backing to assure it would be strong enough to stretch in one section. "Professional, courteous, came on time. the pet odor was taken care of in the back bedroom. Stains removed, carpet looked clean and fresh. I had Tom redo the bottom three stairs to the den. This carpet is a Berber and did not clean as well as the other stairwell. The Berber Carpet is a much tighter weave. The entire carpet took longer to dry than the stated 2 to 4 hours. "Marcus was very communicative before job day. He came in person to see the rooms needing work so he could make a firm quote, and then returned the next day to complete the job. He and his co-worker arrived on time and worked very steadily. I requested 3 rooms of carpet cleaning, 1 large lower level tile floor scrubbing, and stairs sanding/staining. The job was finished in one day. The floor and carpets were very worn and needed special attention. They came out really nice, and the flooring was better than I expected."
