They also had to apply latex to part of the backing to assure it would be strong enough to stretch in one section. This carpet is a Berber and did not clean as well as the other stairwell. The Berber Carpet is a much tighter weave. The entire carpet took longer to dry than the stated 2 to 4 hours.
