"I am so grateful to Grandview Construction for our beautiful, new kitchen and master shower! They also painted our entire first floor including the trim. Our experience with Jeremy and his wonderful crew was A+mazing! Their workmanship was excellent, and Jeremy was very communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. The crew was friendly, professional and clearly experts at what they do. One of them has almost 30 years of experience in the industry. Jeremy and his crew provided many helpful details about the project from start to finish and was quick to let us know if any issues arose. When they had to make any adjustments they explained the reasons and were very patient in answering all of our questions and since this was our very first kitchen remodel we had a lot of questions. The project was completed on time and stayed within the very fair competitive estimate he gave us in the beginning, and we could not be happier with the gorgeous finished product. We will work with them on any other project we might do on our home, and I would recommend Grandview Construction without any reservation to anyone who is looking for a dependable and honest general contractor to work on their house."

"Very organized. As a working parent in a household with small children, Matrix’s process was very smooth. Once permits were approved, building moved according to the quoted timeline. We appreciated the app that kept homeowners in the loop about who would be on site on a given day and what was being done. Project oversight was very good. Our project manager was very responsive to our questions/concerns and a helpful go-between with the sub-contractors and inspectors."

"Good work in general; our basement no longer sees water for over 3 years now, which is the most important thing. But there were some real issues: The biggest issue is that USW did not adhere to local electrical codes, and did not arrange for a final inspection of the project. So we didn't find out that it wasn't to code until years later, and now it's a big hassle and minor cost to fix and get the permits. Ask your local gov yourself what you need to do for permits and inspections; don't rely on USW! USW said they would seal any foundation cracks found along the way; they didn't do this until I bugged the warranty dept about it (but they did do it eventually). USW sent someone out for the "annual checkup"... over 2 years after the install. It's a good thing they (eventually) did, because they discovered the backup battery wasn't charging. Now I know to check this stuff better myself. Prices also vary wildly and are kind of negotiable (I'd give more detail but I'm out of space)"

"Our basement had an odd layout and we were not sure how we could make it a livable space. We also had a realistic budget as we are both working individuals with a family, trying to expand our home, within our personal means. Jolanta and her entire crew over exceeded our expectations. Every detail was completed meticulously. Everyone worked so hard and was so kind. We made modifications as the project progressed as we could see new visions and we were able to have input. It was a great partnership and the quality of the work is beyond our expectations. Highly recommend. Of note, I found Excellent remodeling on Angie’s list after receiving multiple bids I was not comfortable with and almost gave up on the project. Jolanta came out right away and her ideas, comfort level made me trust her. I am so thankful and could not have made a better decision. Thank you."
